This was a gift for my friend who loves cats. She is not excessive about them, only has three, but she really likes cats. She was an art teacher and the colors of all the cats & the cup are very colorful and whimsical. She didn't mind at all that it said Crazy Cat Lady. She said it fit good in her car cup holder. The cup has a cover over it & then there is a lid over the spout that moves to the side so she can drink out of it and then moves back to keep it covered so it will stay hot and keep it from spilling. It is thick and a very substantial feeling ceramic cup. It is very well made and it can be used at home without the lid, if she wants just to drink her coffee from it at home. So I think my friend, Barbara, is very pleased with it and will use it a lot. I would highly recommend this cup to anyone especially those who love cats or have friends who loves cats.

This is a beautiful addition to my mug collection. The usefulness of this travel mug is questionable. The ceramic mug is heavier than an aluminum one of the same size and, of course, is highly breakable. It also has the disadvantage of having a thicker lip than an aluminum travel mug. Add the spill resistant top to the thickness of the ceramic and drinking from it becomes a tricky exercise. If you want a functional and long lasting travel mug, I don't think this is the answer. But if you want a cute addition to a mug collection or something to celebrate your love of cats, this is the one for you.

My daughter has three cats. the first time we got this mug we saw it in a store. She loved it and took it to high school with her coffee. Well one day at home she broke it. :( So I found her a replacement on here. And a month later she broke it, and was so sad. So we ordered two more and surprised her with them. lol This is a must have for a cat lover. It is really cute. Would be nice if it came in plastic also. lol

Great design, but doesn't seem to be dishwasher safe, after all. I got this last week and have been hand washing it upstairs until last night, when I put I brought it down and put it in the dishwasher. When I took it out, there was a chip in the lip of the mug and some paint missing from the handle. My search criteria on Amazon included both microwave and dishwasher safe, so a bit disappointed that these weak areas couldn't stand up to the dishwasher temps.

Did not know what to expect when I ordered this mug. Sometimes items get broken or the workmanship is not good and there will be cracks. But not with this mug. It was in wonderful shape. Well made and heavier than I thought it would be. It's fun to use and is my favorite at work, just to make a statement. Not sure about how microwavable it is. I am careful with that. Love it!

i AM A CAT LOVER, WHEN I SAW THIS I WAS REALLY EXCITED, IT IS REALLY NICE AND IT IS BRIGHT AND HEAVY WITH A NICE LID ON TO CARRY AROUND. CAN BE USED FOR HOT OR COLD DRINKS. IT WOULD BE VERY NICE FOR A GIFT.

The travel lid doesn't work that well. It leaks and dribbles after the first 1/4 of the coffee is gone. I use it without the lid. Also, the bottom is rubber, and bows outward when hot liquid is poured in to it, which makes it wobbly and unstable until the coffee cools off.

I purchased this as a Christmas present from my aunt who is a crazy cat lady! It is super cute and she loved it! What an incredible price as well!
