I bought this to use when we collect an admissions fee at our local youth club for basketball games! It has a high quality appearance, keeps your money organized (and places to hide bigger bills), and locks quickly if you need to walk away from it. I was honestly expecting a thin metal container that would dent/buckle if a squirrel ran into it. On the contrary, this is a well-made cash box.*Inside, the spring bill holders have a lot of resistance to them, ensuring your money won't fly away.*There is no secret place to stash large bills, but there is a little well behind the bill clips where you can lay rolled coins and extra bills.*The coin section is suspended above. It is made of plastic, but it is sturdy. The coin sections are curved so it is much easier to get coins out.*The lock is the standard tumbler lock for small items. It's not Fort Knox, but it will keep kids out of it. If someone wants the money, they can just take the box hahaha!*NOT for keeping important documents. NOT waterproof. NOT fireproof. There's no room anyway.Great money box for events and garage sales! Just a PSA: If you bolt it to the table, they will take the table. Let it go.

This box is great for yard sales or craft fairs when you need your cash easy to access yet secure. It makes separating bills easy. It holds them in their individual compartments nicely and it holds a decent amount overall. You dont have to worry about the wind blowing your cash out of the box. The coin compartments are equally helpful. I think I would prefer them on the bottom, rather than on the top, but that's just my personal preference after working years in customer service. The lock seems secure. It comes with 2 keys if you opt for the key lock over the combination lock. It's lightweight enough that you can carry to farmer's markets, craft fairs or any outdoor event with money being exchanged. It is a little bulky to pack and carry, but that's a trade off for having the room inside of it to thoroughly separate cash of different dollar amounts. I don't want to sacrifice the ease of access over the size for transport. It's just a point to consider. It's sturdy enough to do the job, but I wouldn't keep my cash locked in this in the house. I'd opt for something heavier and fireproof in that situation. I rate this at 5 stars for value, ease of use and durability. I think it's worth the price, especially for outdoor events. I would recommend this product.

I am comparing our new box with our old box. The new box as a nice place for all the bills to be separated, and it has good places for the coins so that they have room and are easily sorted. The old box had one advantage. It had a tray that came out so you could put receipts underneath. However, the problem with this is that the tray was plastic and the weight of the coins made it break. So so the old one will hold receipts and paper clips and things like that. And the new one will hold the heavy coins and the sorted dollar bills. The lock is nice, but we probably won't use it. But I do like the rotating knob that closes it securely.

I have mixed feelings about this cash box. I feel that it's generally good quality but there are a few things I wish I could change. First, it's enormous. I realize that the description says it's large but, wow. I really don't think I want to carry this thing around with me. I will be using it for craft fairs and bake sales. I already have enough to carry and this seems like it will be rather cumbersome. On the other hand, it is quite roomy so I won't have to worry about space issues. I also suppose the large size would make it slightly more difficult for sticky fingers to walk away with it.My second issue is that the coin trays do not secure the coins. If you put any size or number of coins into the trays they will not stay put if the box is turned any way but right side up. I tend to put my old cash box in my tote bag for easy transport. When I do so with this box the coins come out of their slots and get all mixed up inside. It's really obnoxious. Also, the coin tray is plastic, not metal. I don't like that they skimped on materials here. It should all be metal.I am fairly bothered by these issues and I may need to get myself a different cash box as a result. However, this box is good quality for the most part. It seems very secure and comes with two keys. The trays for the bills are appropriately sized and the arms which secure the bills work nicely. They aren't too tight that they are obnoxious to flip up and down but they keep everything in place.

I got this box to hold money for a yard sale and it worked out great. It's sturdy and secure with plenty of room for everything. I also love that it's got a combo on it so I can avoid the prospect of losing a key.

This is a great basic cash box for my farmer's market table. The lock works great, it's easy to open when unlocked and secure when locked. It's a little bulky, but that's really to be expected.
