Mounting Board 11"X14"

I always used this product faithfully when finishing up cross-stitch projects. I stopped the needlework for the longest time because I got too busy to sit down and create, but I just recently began getting back into the hobby. I was quite disappointed to find that stores were no longer carrying this mounting board. It is so easy to use and was a staple for framing a cross-stitch project. I was ecstatic to find this on Amazon! I tried a similar mounting board from a retailer that sold their own brand in-store, but it could not compare to the quality of this product.

I was gifted some of the 'diamond painting'/rhinestone painting kits for my birthday. The paintings turned out so well - I wanted a way to make them firm so I could put in a frame or put on the wall. I used this adhesive backing to that. I was able to cut it down to the correct size without too much hassle and wrap the painting onto it. I used regular craft glue to fold the edges and roll to the back. I then used some mod podge sealant and it worked great. They look lovely in my craft room.

My only complaint is how difficult it was to start peeling the shiny paper off the sticky board from a corner so gave it 4 stars for ease of use. Other than that, the sticky board is very forgiving with repositioning the aida cloth until I got it centered and just the right amount of stickiness to create a smooth, secure finish of the piece.

Works very well for framing embroidery. To cut the board to size I use an ex type knife. A tip for cutting it is to use a light touch with the Exacto-knife and go over the same spot many times. I had a hard time cutting the board initially because I thought it would cut through with one swipe. I also use several swipes across the same lines on front and back. It separates easily this way. My only improvement to the company would be to add grid lines. It is challenging to center needlework perfectly. But overall still works very well for framing pieces of embroidery done on fabric.

This was very easy to use - the cross-stitched item could easily be repositioned if necessary. Held firmly so the mounted piece was easy to insert into a frame.

I've used press-on board for my counted cross stitch pictures for years & wouldn't use anything else.

Easy to use and serves the purpose. Reasonably priced as well.
