Worked for 10 seconds, then blew a fuse. But it does heat the water quickly.
I followed the instructions and set it up in a big tub of cold water. It came on for about 10 seconds, then all the lights on the device went out and it stopped working. I unplugged it, waited a few minutes, plugged it back in again, and nothing. Turns out it blew the 13A fuse on my extension. It's a 2500W device so under 240 volts it should only be pulling 10.5A but I guess it probably wasn't. So I had to plug it directly into the socket instead. It worked fine, heating the water quickly, but the lead is very short so I had to use a big bucket and get it very close to the socket. Not ideal. It took about 10 minutes to get 25L of cold water up 40C.
