This runs big. I usually wear an XL but the large is generous enough and looks great. It hides a lot of sins, is easy to wear, made from sturdy fabric - not wrinkling too much for a linen blend, and is nice for change of seasons attire. The colors may be a little different from the color on your monitor. The red was on the maroon/cranberry side, but is still nice.

I originally ordered a smaller size and then replaced it with the XXL for a looser fit. I can wear it with leggings as a buttoned up tunic or open like a light weight jacket over a dress. I like that versatility. It's a cotton flax blend - and linen is made from flax - and it's a nice textured look. Cotton doesn't mean thin like quilting cotton. I washed and dried it normally, removed from the dryer slightly damp and hung it up smoothing it by hand. I wear it just as is. The red is really a light mulberry color.I'm definitely ordering another one!

Amazon recommended an extra large. Really need to size down. The style of this item is beautiful can be worn either as a coat or a tunic. During the winter given that I ordered a size down, it'll be perfect with jeans tights or even nice trousers. The fabric is a little rough upon opening the package, but I have a good feeling that it will soften up once it is washed. Waiting for my next size down to come

I often take an XL in shirts & tops. An L is plenty for this.Looks good. I feel confident wearing it. Covers my butt. I have it in “red” which is more maroon and dark blue. Middle weight. Wouldn’t be cool enough for summer unless you’re in air conditioning.I would reinforce the buttons because 2 fell off.My advice is to buy it.

I can already tell this is going to be a staple. The color is a gorgeous and opaque greenish-grey, and the fabric is sturdy, crisp and even a bit stiff, which gives it a very sharp and classy look. There are also some nice styling details in the cuffs and collar. This will go well over jeans and slacks on its own or as a light jacket. I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know how it will hold up, though I suspect that with gentle washing and line drying, it should be fine. The buttons are a bit plain, but that's easy to fix. I did order the wrong size (too large), but then I followed the size chart, and the fit was perfect. Very pleased!

This shirt is described as "light." It is not a lightweight linen fabric. It is a very dense weave. That being said, it is comfortable, uncomplicated to care for and excellent w leggings or jeans. But if you are looking for this for a warm climate, don't. It's winter in Houston and when I wore it, it definitely felt more like a jacket than a shirt.
