ASUS ROG Tessen Gaming Mobile Controller for Android (foldable, one size fits all, on-the-fly key mapping, RGB lighting, 500Hz polling rate)

Lightweight, easy to set up and use controller that feels good in the hands. Fits even my unfolded Samsung Galaxy zFold6, and has options for added padding (which comes free with the product in the box) that allows for phones of varying thicknesses to fit the controller well. The folding feature which allows the controller to "fold" into a smaller size for portability is a bonus and works and feels great. I bought this on a whim because I wanted something more portable than the competitor controllers that are in this size and style, and was incredibly happily surprised by how perfect this is for my phone. Highly recommend!

Works well with the ROG phone 9 that I tried it on, as well as the Samsung S20 I had previously. With the controller on the ROG, it seamlessly connected and also allowed for the main screen to go into landscape mode which caught me off guard but was appreciated.Didn't really mess with any other phone than those two so don't have a real ground to stand on with others, but worked well with the existing case that came with the ROG phone. A little tight but was able to get it over the case.

Pros:This fits my Galaxy Z Fold 5, even with the s-pen holder. Charging your phone while using this doesn’t interfere with handling the controls.It is possible to type with your thumbs while using this, although the handling may feel awkward. It would be better for typing (on folding phones) if the USB-C were on the left side.The buttons, d-pad, and sticks are responsive.Cons:The right thumbstick is the most uncomfortable part of the design,I think I would settle for something a little bigger. Some sort of grip add-on would solve the issue if there were one.The ergonomics are pretty bad and the controller feels overly small in the hands. That was done for portability at the expense of comfort, I guess.

Fits phones with thick cases. My Samsung S25 ultra with the Spigen tough armor fits perfectly. The controller also comes with rubber inserts you can swap around to fit other cases.I Just wish the sticks were hall effect, they would have made this the #1 mobile controller on the market

Used for both long and short sessions. Love how adjustable it is for different size phones/cases. Buttons are super clicky in all the best ways. Fast, responsive, and just the right amount of flexibility without being stiff or clunky. Extreme improvement over using screen controls.
