I already use several Dream mat products in river sluices and clean-up sluices, but I have always wanted something a little smaller with a pump to replace my V-mat gutter sluice. When I saw this posted on their website I decided to pull the trigger on it, I had an Amazon gift card from Christmas so I made the purchase here.I have nothing but good things to say. I had received a bag of the Prospectors Dream Pay Dirt and ran that as a test. I ran the whole bag in under 5 minutes, I caught the tailings in a second pain to compare capture rate vs loss. I had a pan full of tailings and a pan with almost only heavies and visible gold.The overall size of the matting had me worried about needing to clean up the matting more often than my gutter sluice, but it is so quick to clean up dream matting that it isn't an issue.Results:caught .19g of gold in the matting1 minuscule piece of gold made it into the tailingsNot only will this replace my gutter sluice for clean-ups, but it also takes less space, I can run it in my kitchen using a plastic bin which makes it perfect for wintertime clean-ups.Honestly, I think they could charge another 25-30 dollars for the product and it would still sell, but they have it at a sweet price point and everyone should buy one.

The item is exactly as described. It is sturdy and so far it has been very reliable. I did quite a lot of research prior to ordering it and I am truly happy with the product. The only negative is that I wish it was larger.

I'm good at tweeking things to make them work. This unit made so many suds it was unusable. I sent it back. Advice, find a better "clean-up" sluice.

This thing is absolutely fantastic. Now it isn’t really big, but that’s not what it’s designed for. I ran paid dirt that I’ve personally mined out of the mountains of Nevada and found very small flower gold in the sluice. I have also ran some pay dirt that I bought with similar results. I would buy one now before the price goes up. So far I have about seven hours of run time on mine with no issues.

After watching a couple of YouTube videos and getting this thing set up, it turned out to be such a time saver for someone that is a beginner at panning gold. So far I’ve recovered about 3 g of gold which has more than paid for this machine. After panning the tailings there was no additional gold in the tailings so I’m confident this machine gets 99 to 100% of your gold without you having to pan everything. It’s a good value with the dream mat and the 3-D printed structure. It makes it a really easy machine to use for beginners. Highly highly recommended.
