Black 8' Wide Portable Truss System

My initial impression is that this truss is great for a bar band that wants to have a professional looking light show and plays relatively small venues. It seems plenty sturdy enough. Note there was some confusion about what kind of clamps fit on this. I've taken a pic of the one I use and the current amazon description is "6 Pack Black Truss Clamps Stage Light Hook, Heavy Duty Iron C Clamp Fits Pipe OD 1-1⅛ inches (25-30 mm), Max Load 30 lb, for DJ Par Lighting Spot Lights Moving Head, TUV"

The media could not be loaded. In the above video, I AM ELEVATED on a 16' high stage, and the truss is NOT FULL EXTENDED, it actually goes higher. The four lights do not come with the truss. The creator of this truss is a genius in simplicity and utility. If you do small to medium show, this is priced perfectly, and REALLY well built. Thanks guys for a sound and logical product with the perfect price.

It's sturdy and well-built. It's a good height for my use and it's much cheaper than any other option. It's quick and easy to set up. The only negative is that the cross bar that the lights attach to is not a standard size. After trying a few other mounting options that didn't work, I had to track down the specific clamps built by the same company. They aren't expensive and they work really well. But they weren't easy to find online and I didn't see them carried anywhere on Amazon. It would have been easy to either make this with a standard 1" bar, or to package 4 of the clamps with the product. It would still be a great value. Now that I have the clamps, it works great. My rating does reflect the hoops you have to jump through to get there though.

I wanted a system to hang a few moving heads and wash lights. I looked around and ultimately went with this product based on price and reviews. I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars, not knowing what I really needed or wanted. I haven’t used it yet, but I’ve set the system up. It was very easy to assemble, I did it by myself. The material is very strong and sturdy. It looks exactly like the pictures on Amazon. You can raise or lower it, based on how high you want it. Overall, I’m very pleased and for the price, you can’t beat it.

The media could not be loaded. Great product and it is very sturdy, I put a big led disco ball, huge laser light, big club light and a haze machine and it held perfectly.

This is an amazing little lighting setup! Light enough for one person to setup with ease. Strong enough to get the job done. Held up in some pretty high winds the second time we used it. Makes my setup look fantastic. Lights are purchased separately. I got Velcro's straps to secure the lights instead of the usual c- clamps. (Much better looking and lighter option for securing lights).

Seems to be sturdy somewhat unless you get it to high in the air and movement around it. Otherwise it's sturdy for holding and mounting lights, tripods work great and not flimsy. The middle connection is really beefy and doesnt sag. Great overall value for a small light setup.
