Not well engineered, poor instructions.
I don't recommend this jig saw. I needed something light for easy project work, and I wanted cordless. The price was decent, so I bought. Two major problems. First, the blade kept falling out. I followed the directions, read them a few times and I was doing it correctly. There is a collar you turn 90 degrees and insert the blade. I don't know if intentional or not, but once the blade is seated, the collar doesn't return to its original position. The instructions don't talk about this, so I don't know what it is supposed to do, but this is what it does. And the blade kept coming out. The second issue is the battery. Once charged and plugged into the saw, it has two tabs that you presumably press to release the batter to remove it for recharge. They don't work and I don't see another way to remove the battery. So, I am returning it. I don't recommend this product.

I love it!
Works great and it super easy to use. The cut quality and build quality are both sufficient and it is just the right size to feel secure, yet easily store. It is great value for the money.
