Works well for holding objects in place on shelves. The peel-off pieces are easy to use.

I could not tap the nails into the wood frames of the paintings for some reason, so I ordered this. A week later, still hanging.

I usually use FunTak but found this one and wanted to give it a try since it's a great deal. Well, I wasn't disappointed. Here's what's to love about it:1. The little molded squares make it easy to take off a consistent amount, which is an ideal amount for the corner of a large item, or for attaching a small item.2. Large quantity in multiple smaller packages means you can keep one in the kitchen drawer, one in the garage, etc. and always have one at hand.3. Stickiness! Of course, that's the main deal, and we have had zero issues with anything falling down. I've just put it to its toughest test: Attaching a cardstock art project to my son's ceiling. Will update this review if that falls down.Here are the uses I've put this to:1. Attaching those battery-powered smart light switches to the wall: No more potentially wall-damaging adhesives or screw holes, and if I change my mind about placement, I can reposition it without any waste!2. Stick 2 pieces on the lower corners of picture frames hung on the wall -- avoids pictures getting crooked or even falling when a door is slammed.3. Mount small items to a desk to keep them from being tipped over, such as USB hubs, coasters, charging stands, pen cups.

We used to use mounting putty like this when we were kids. It works great. For me, it has not left any oily marks and certainly does not pull off the paint. It's perfectly safe. I used some of mine to hold up a metal beware of dog sign, about 6 inch x 6 inch and on the heavy side, and for 2 days now the sign is still up.

A little bit goes a long way! My only warning is to be careful using this on a matte paint. Remove it very slowly. It did remove a bit of paint when I removed a poster to check on the tackiness but this stuff is sticky enough to pull off paint. Try it in a discreet location first. I got the white color. I only used a tiny pea-sized bit on all 4 corners of my posters. While it is sticky, it doesn't stick to the fingers, making it easier to transfer it to the desired location. It's pretty malleable.

SO many uses for these sticky tabs I don't even know where to start. Do you have a cat who likes to jump up onto the back of your sofa and s-t-r-e-t-c-h himself up the wall to paw at the 3 pieces of art hanging above the sofa? Yeah, me too. That's why I need these sticky tabs!

Ordered these for my college-bound son since he has several posters and pictures he would like to hang in his dorm. Tried a set of four to attach a poster in his bedroom and it adheres to both the poster and the wall just fine. Left no visible marks on the wall after readjusting several times. Chose the blue putty because it will be easier to find when it comes time to move out next spring.
