I really like this mushroom coffee it has a wonderful flavor. My go to cuppa now.

I enjoyed the taste of this mushroom coffee. It was difficult to distinguish from a regular coffee and I appreciate the health benefits of this kind of ingredients. I like the bio pods as well.

The flavor of this mushroom coffee is tasty enough to swap out my regular grounds for the benefits of mushroom coffee, while still getting 43mg of caffeine. I’m not sure I would like it “black”, but I also do not like my favorite blend “black”, so that’s kind of moot. I really like that the brand is certified organic, and has to go through the intense qualification process for that stamp of approval. This mushroom coffee makes my caffeine dependence feel beneficial.

I was prepared for these pods to make a beverage with an aftertaste, but they tasted just like espresso and only espresso. I was really primed to taste the earthiness of the mushrooms, or maybe experience some chalkiness, but there was none of that. I make these in my portable espresso machine that takes this style of pods, and I've tried them both as straight-up espresso and in americanos. These make a dark, bold coffee, and I can only taste the richness of the coffee. Other than the energizing qualities linked to caffeine, I don't notice any additional effects from the mushroom content.

I have tried a lot of different mushroom-based coffees but never an espresso so far. Just like their regular counterparts it doesn't taste much like mushrooms, but stronger than your average mushroom coffee and still all the health benefits. I can drink it without any sugar or cream, and it tastes just fine.I like the fact that the pods are actually biodegradable, as this is my main concern with regular pods, but that may take some time because the scaffold is quite thick. I am hesitant to put it in my regular compost.Overall, this is a better than average tasting mushroom coffees.

As espressos go, this brand is definitely not as strong, but much stronger than regular coffee. I have been adding these as shots to my morning brew and I can taste the extra flavor coming through. No mushroom flavor at all which rocks! I would say that if you are drinking this by itself, you may not get as much enjoyment as other espresso brands, especially if you like rich, strong flavors. But as an added flavor it is great. I love that the pods are biodegradable!

I was very hesitant with this as it's my first foray into mushroom coffee, but I have to admit, I loved it. The nespresso pods are compost-able which is very commendable given how cheap the metal disposable ones are despite their environmental impact. The coffee itself is a wonderful medium taste--very full flavor and not bitter at all. I didn't taste any hint of mushroom (which is a big plus for me). I'll definitely look to get these again!

I decided to give this coffee a chance, despite not really being a mushroom person. But unfortunately it's not for me. And I did not like the taste at all. It's too noticeable for me. The pods themselves and the packaging are nice though, I just am not a fan of the flavor.
