This Is A HOME PLOW, People.
The plow arrived complete with fluid and ready to go. Installation is as easy as it can get. The most difficult operations were finding a receiver hitch for the front that has the correct height, and feeding the hand control wire through the firewall. I have seen a lot of complaints about this plow based on build quality and its ability to hold up to use. I replaced my old Meyer Classic plow with this one and it is of much lighter construction. The reason is that the vehicles the plow is built for will not take the weight of a plow built to a heavy use standard. It is a "Home Plow" for home use and lighter weight vehicles. Those who try to use it for parking lots, servicing multiple customers driveways and rough, uneven gravel without properly adjusted skid shoes will not have a good experience. My old Meyer Classic would take the heavy use, but the new HomePlow weighs several hundred pounds less, for good reason. Buyer's remorse is based on the buyer being too cheap to purchase a plow that will take heavy use.

Great concept but too expensive and too light duty!!
A good idea but not practical . I loved idea how it could fit right onto a 2 inch receiver hitch and the quick attachment. But, yes it’s not made to do a lot of plowing . I used it for for about 10 hr and it’s already bent up. It would be ok if your doing a few hours a year, and no major bumps or obstacles to go around.I gave it a 3 star because the set up is great and it would be ok for light use only.I do think that it is a little pricey for the quality of plow itself.I did call Myers, all they told me “there is nothing they can do sorry”. So I guess I’m only going to continue buying Boss plows from now on.Don’t waist your money if your doing medium or heavy plowing . Light snow only , I’m talking 2 in of snow , maybe . Hope this helps some one .

Polar Vortex of 2014 - Michigan Snow - No Problem!
After the first big snow storm in January everything was either stuck or buried. After digging out all night in -20F temperatures (with a little garden tractor and snow plow) I made a late night spur of the moment $3K purchase (this and the front hitch to mount it with) and 1 month later I still do not regret it!The hardest part of getting the plow on my Jeep was mounting the front hitch (I did this myself in 0F temperatures) and getting the plow out of the semi (for some reason I was expecting several boxes, oops I was wrong). This plow comes fully assembled and on a crated pallet which weighs ~500 lbs.Connecting the wire harness took to my Jeep took 10 minutes. I cut corners by running the plow remote cable out the hood and in the passenger door, I will fix this when it warms up. Just like in the videos, the plow will attach and detach in 1 minute. This plow really works great, I have 1/4 mile long gravel driveway and I had no problem clearing it. Pushing snow into 6 foot high piles is easy with this plow. Plowing in the warmth of an enclosed vehicle - really worth it.I've recommended this plow to several coworkers and friends, for home use it is absolutely perfect. Meyer did a great job designing and building this plow, it seems to be pretty heavy duty for something sold as a light duty home use plow. I expect this to last a lifetime.

Meyer Home Plow-Do Not Buy
I had a Home Plow that worked for 4 years, was great. When it quit the local Meyers Service Center does not work on Home Plows. I Replaced Parts till it was cheaper to buy a new one. Some parts I had to buy from a third party because they were long time back ordered at Meyers.Bought this one Jan 2017. Came fast fully assembled. Worked one time for winter 2016/2017. Got it out for 2017/2018. Will not work. When buttons are pushed there is a clicking sound, but will not go up or down or to the side. This is the exact problem I had with the first one. Connections all clean. Full of hydraulic fluid. Pumped the arms to get out any air bubbles.Per the warranty I have to take the bad part back to a service center, I prepay the return shipping and I get the replacement part. My local service center does not work on the Home Plow. I do not know what part is bad. Does this mean I have to send the whole Plow back?Do not buy the Home Plow. Will leave updated review if Meyers gets back to me. I am attempting to get through to customer service.
