Q: Is the blue Flexbar supposed to shiney and slippery? All the other colours are matte and grippy but the blue one is shiney and slippery.

Mine certainly has a sheen to it and is correspondingly just a little on the slick side. It is of course a few years old now and could have worn it that way with the use I've had from it, but I don't recall it ever having a truly matte, high friction feel.

Both. I sometimes forget but when it goes away after a few weeks you seem to not worry about it so much.
