This was what I was thinking I needed for a Time. When you have a machine for a period of time. You get to know your sewing machine. Mine is a heavy duty singer 4452. Absolutely fabulous sewing machine. I've done upholstery for instance with this sewing machine. Anyway, when I replaced this piece. It made my sewing machine a brand new sewing machine!People this is what you need to replace on occasion. Should a needle break or thread gets jammed and the needle hits this bobbin case. The bobbin case needs to be smooth so that the thread can glide over it. That's all I'll say.

Worked perfect. Old bobbin holder kept bouncing, new holder fixed the problem, back to sewing!
