Color Washed Out with One Warm Water Rinse…
Usage: You have to peel off the label on the back side to get to the instructions for how to use it. The red button they mention in the instructions is at the top of the bottle :D It sprays well, but the dye is watery and does run down your face, so it’s good to have some wipes handy. It sprayed a fine blue mist over my counter. It didn’t stain it, but it was a lot to wipe up even though I was really careful to spay my hair with my hand behind it. It’s hard to spray evenly because you just run out of spray and have to spray again.Color: I had magenta bangs with platinum roots. The magenta turned into a darker lavender. My platinum roots turned to a light gray-blue. The smell was sweet at first, then it was a bit tart smelling, like vinegar. After that there was a beachy scent, like the synthetic ambergris they use in perfumes (ambroxan, like in M*ison Margiela’s Beach Walk). My hair was stiff, but super shiny.Staining and Color Fastness: When I touched it to comb it out a bit, my hands turned blue. I decided then that I wanted to wash it out. The instructions said that it could be washed out after fifteen minutes. I had to clean the bathrooms so I did that and it took about twenty to thirty minutes. I rinsed my hair out under warm water (no shampoo, just warm water)…and it all came out. There was no blue left in my hair at all.Stars? I took two stars off because this is not semi-permanent (that’s what the product page says and the actual product says). It washed out completely in one rinse. That’s what most people call a temporary color. Conclusion? It’s not worth it for me. There are a lot of easier ways to temporarily color my hair that don’t involve wiping down the counter like I had to.

Perfect for color refresh- stain free
I came across JustColor after seeing it on instagram. I absolutely love it! Was very easy to spray on and then blow dry my hair. Im obsessed with the pink. Also it was much easier than the arctic fox dye I’ve used in the past. I did accidentally get some dye on the floor and white sink but it wiped right off. I didn’t have any issues with staining.

A good product, but small bottles
My hair often has difficulty taking on dyes, and it's always such a hassle to use traditional dyeing methods. I wanted to try this as a potential streamlined alternative. In principle, this is fantastic – just spray thoroughly and leave it in.Indeed, I did see some change, but it was rather subtle. It took a few washes to see a noticeable change, but the color held somewhat well. Unfortunately, even for a shorter (shoulder-length) hairstyle like mine, the bottles don't last very long. I had to go through half a bottle before I reached a shade I liked. Maintaining the color will take even more. While I do recommend this dye for its quality and ease of use, I will also offer a bit of advice. I know it's supposed to be its own conditioner, but I would suggest trying it with a color-locking conditioner of your choice to see if the color can stick better. Otherwise, you'll probably run out of your bottles rather quickly.

Easy to apply, hard to notice
I came across JustColor after seeing it online and wanted to try it. I wanted to do the blue as it was definitely different. I found the overall experience to be easy. This was easy to spray and apply, then blow dry the hair. I noticed a slight blueish tint to my hair (my hair is dark brown) so I was a bit disappointed. Only outside in the sunlight do you really notice it. Washes out really fast too.

Much better options
I thought that this would be a fun way to get a bit of blue in my gray strands - they pick up other fun colors in other semi-permanent dyes, so I figured this would be similar. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case. You could barely see a tiny twinge of color if you looked closely, but that's probably only because I knew what I was looking for. The spray was also surprisingly annoying to use and not get everywhere else.If you bleach your hair first or have naturally very light hair, this should be okay, as long as you can tolerate using a spray, but if you've got any gray, forget it.

Great for dying clip-ins
I used this to dye clip in extensions for my daughter. I was able to get a nice ombre effect very easily. The color ranges from a nice pale slate blue to a deep ocean blue. Looks great.

Messy and Not Effective
Very messy to use. The spray comes out quite thin and does not spray evenly. I had it all over my hands face and bathroom wall...Grrrr!I have bleached out hair and the color did not take despite multiple applications.

handy, but pricey
Pros:- Easy clean from basically every nonporous surface (washes off skin super easy)- Spray makes it easy to touch up and hit spots you miss- Color I got (blue) was true to expectations and listingCons:- Tiny bottles- If you have long/thick hair, expect to go through like 4 of these little spritzers- Expensive...The convenience of these cannot be understated but I think it's best to save these for doing small areas, spot dying, touch ups, or for people with super short hair to use for a full-head dye.
