We have been using this for a couple of months. The horses have responded well, and no one has rejected the supplements. They seem to have fewer issues, and I love the extra nutrients they are getting. The bucket is convenient to carry around.

My dude is on this for some extra vitamins and minerals in his diet. To be honest, I'm not convinced it's doing much of anything. Most of what's in the feed is also in a ration balancer which you can get at a fraction of the expense. Maybe this is good for someone who feeds no concentrates whatsoever, but a lot of supplements out there are chock full of vitamins and minerals you're already getting elsewhere. I find it quite redundant and will not be reordering.

The bucket is is easy to carry. Comes with a measuring cup. Great way and good idea to get your horse the minerals and vitamins they need. Looks like good quality to me. Thanks so much!

At 23 years old, my dressage horse is still going strong. I feel so fortunate to have him as a long time partner and make sure that he gets the best possible nutrition. Smartvite Perform Senior makes sure that he gets all of his vitamins and minerals. He eats it well, and it is a good complement to his joint supplements.

So far these are more edible than his other supplements, I no longer have to mix or hide them with his feed. I can feed him right out of my hand and he will take them gladly. No negative symptoms or anything to report so far.

While the vast majority of my herd are seniors, mine are on quality hay and either a good ration balancer or a quality concentrate. But, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try and give this to my older mare and see if it helped; especially as I’m always trying to find a way to get a bit extra magnesium into her diet since it’s supposed to have a ‘calming’ effect.I cannot genuinely say that’s happened, or if it’s the result of some of the other supplements she’s been on, but I’d say if you’re feeding a lower quality hay or grain, this supplement might be beneficial for your older horses.
