In truth, I didn’t know that there was such a thing as a “micro tagging gun.” That said, I found one locally to complete this review. The fasteners work just like the standard-sized tags work, but since they are much smaller and finer, are not as sturdy. I’d go as far as to say, they’re quite delicate.These tags are tiny by comparison to the standard-sized tags, but I’m not sure how useful they are. I’ve never tried mending clothing with them or wearing something with the tiny tags poking my skin. I suppose for a quick fix, they might work, but not a permanent solution. I would also venture to say that these tags would not survive a trip through the washer. They are just too delicate. In addition, I quilt, and while I didn’t test it, I would hesitate to say that these 0.18 inch tags are long enough to go through the backing, padding, and quilt top successfully. However, if you are looking for a way to tag nice jewelry for purchase, a micro-tagging gun and these tags would be ideal. Tagging the jewelry would be much faster than the old “tag with string” approach, and the sales tag could easily be removed without needing a pair of scissors.These tags come in two colors—black and white. You get a generous supply of over fifteen hundred fasteners of each color, so if you’re looking for a delicate tagging solution, and this product will meet your specific needs, then I recommend it. However, read the product information carefully; these tags are also not recommended for delicate fabrics.
