I tried burning the extra strings with lighter, the thigh burns very little and that too after 15 seconds holding the lighter to it. Highly satisfied. The color also did not change on burning a little, so it won't loose color. I ordered beige color

Worth for money and it works marvellously.

1. [Info] You will need to wear thick gloves to wrap the gauze or else you risk getting fine spikes pricking all over your palms.2. [OK] Will work in shielding some of the heat to your foot while riding.3. [Critical] Rather than protecting the silencer this wrap will trap water and will start corroding the silencer. So image for a better glimpse of the impact.4. [Warning] If Engine oil spills then on the silencer this will trap the oil and will start smoking out. In my case the mechanic did not add proper sealant at the oil filter area and Engine Oil leaked on the silencer. But even after fixing the Engine Oil leak the Oil trapped on the Wrap kept smoking out for a month. Finally I had to get rid of the wrap to get away from daily dose of burning smoke.5. [Worst] The clamps provided rust over time and not of good quality.

Product is amazing but if you use your bike for long routes or heavy travelling then dont install because a day will come when it will be remove and you will see exhaust all rotten.But if you do small ride or city commute then it is good to purchase.

1).It's a proper glasswool. It's a thick, wide roll. Don't expose your skin or breath on It..⚠️ wear thick full sleeves and gloves..2) The black color seems to fade quickly.. I wet the wrap while installing, just to avoid the glass fibres from getting in the AIR.. and after drying up, the wrap seems a tiny bit whitish on the edges. You can use (color die/hair die/ high-temp spray paint) periodically to keep it black..3) You don't get metal locks to tie the ends on the exhaust, you can buy it separately or stripped wires from electrical cables to tie the Ends..

I have installed on my royal enfield classic silencer .its safe as if accidentally some one or kids touch the parked bike it will not burn their finguresWE NEED TO USE GLOVES TO INSTALL THIS PRODUCT AS ITS A GLASS POWER COATED
