The first time people hear, if someone says that they are - from / working in - South India is that the food is cooked in coconut oil and the smell is unbearable. The most common reaction that I have heard is - " How can you eat something cooked in Parachute oil? ". After hearing all these comments for a very loooong time, I finally decided to purchase " the coconut oil :.After many reviews and suggestions - I decided to purchase " it " from Amazon. The service was quick and great as usual. Sp one fine afternoon - I had in my hands - " the coconut oil ", and that too an Organic one! I knew I had to taste it the moment I had it - opening the bottle I smelt it - it was very light - nowhere smelt like Parachute Hair Oil - and very tempting. Since lunch was done, I decided to quickly make an omelette and enjoy it with some freshly brewed filter coffee. When I put the oil in the hot pan - there was a slight " coconut-y " smell - which was soon gone. I made my double egg omelette and the coffee was ready. With NO hesitation at all - I took the first spoonful, and it was heavenly!! There was a slight taste of coconut, but above all the oil felt so light - unlike mustard oil or some refined oil. In no time I had finished the omelette - and as I write down this review with coffee in hand, I am already planning to order for more of " the coconut oil " and thinking about the dishes that I will prepare - Banguda / Mackarel fry, Paneer " Coconut Oil " Masala, Chicken / Mutton / Pork / Prawns Curry or maybe try the Rohu Fish Fry , which is traditionally done in mustard oil - but, all in due course of time!A few suggestions to the makers of the product -1. It is a Glass bottle - hence very delicate, and with slippery - oily hands while cooking - chances are that the bottle may slip from the hands and there goes - Kabooooom! - which, I believe nobody would want to happen! I personally will transfer " it " to a plastic bottle for safety!!2. Packaging is really good and appealing.3. Taste is great and nowhere the strong " coconut-y " smell.I believe daily cooking can be done with this oil and as articles suggest, coconut oil is good for health. The Paleo Diet suggests coconut oil for great health and metabolism.

I bought it thinking it was virgin coconut oil and thus the high price. But it is not.Still it is one of the best coconut oil I have tasted.Great packaging by Amazon as usual.

A product packaging so safe and innovative I did not throw it in the dustbin.The oil is smooth coconuty clean and recommended.1. Medium branched chain fatty acids a must.2. Children on the weaker side can be given as good for weight gain and increases appetite.3. Fear of saturated fats is too much in society but a living cell membrane can't be formed without lipid(fatl.4. 10-15 ml enough to be ttkn raw or in non heated form salads or in imaginable recipe of inovativeness.

I really like the quality of Conscious Foods product but the company needs to sort out their delivery charges method with Amazon because it does not make sense to ask the customers to pay the more in delivery charges if they wish to order more of the same item. For example if Rs 50 is delivery charge and I want to order 3 of the the same item then it is unethical (on the part of Amazon or vendor) to expect customers to pay Rs 150 in delivery charges. Something does not seem right here

It's an excellent light oil. I have a tablespoon the system, simply drink it. Or add it to my salads. It has a very faint smell....so not offensive at all! Trying to add some good fats to the system.
