These are my second pair of this shoe, the first having fallen apart after only 3 summers' wear. They are incredibly comfortable - it's like meeting an old, beloved friend when you slip these on after a long winter.Speaking as someone who finds regular toe post flip flops intolerably uncomfortable, I have no problem at all with the toe loops. Also they are quick to wear in, important when you are caught unawares by some warm weather and need to buy suitable footwear.I have knocked off one star because my previous pair only lasted 3 years of light wear (I'm in Scotland, how much of a summer do we have?!!) and I thought birkenstocks were supposed to last longer.All in all though, I would most definitely recommend these sandals.

I bought these quite last minute to wear on holiday and didn't get a chance to wear them in - I didn't need to! I wore them all say every day for almost 2 weeks and they were comfortable and looked good too. I went for Birkinstocks specifically because I have a bad back, and was told to always unbuckle every time you take them off, don't slip them off! They have moulded to my feet! Sizing is perfect, I measured my feet and used that to decide on a size and I'm glad I did, I'm normally a 7.5 or 8 but ordered a 7 and they're perfect. Highly reccommend!

As I had a deadline as to when I could receive these items (due to go on holiday) I emailed seller via Amazon and received a helpful reply.I already own 2 other pairs of this model of Birkenstock with which I am delighted as they are so comfortable. They do take a little getting used to but worth persevering. I wanted lighter colours which they now do so may buy even more! I have problems with feet and ankles and am required to wear orthoses in shoes but these sandals are brilliant if you have dropped arches (or even if you don't) and for my narrow feet, the ability to adjust both straps is perfect. Very good if you have back problems too.I just love them.

I bought a red pair of these last Spring & have worn them on good weather walks ever since. They are very comfortable! I bought a new pair because my red ones are just starting to show some wear & tear now, but they have done a good job.

These are so comfortable...my old pair had worn out after 3 years of regular use and needed replacing. Great for (dog) walking in countryside or on the beach, as well as for work or going out with friends...if they get wet, they soon dry. Every busy Mum needs a pair!

A 5th pair, I wear them all the time even as slippers, i find them so comfy.

Having a size 42 foot doesn't make it easy to find fun summer sandals, especially in the UK. Birkenstock are great fitting and made well, these are my second pair as I love the straps. I've been wearing them everyday since I got them.

I love these sandals, felt comfy after a few wears. I'm a size 7-8 I opted for the 7 and it was a perfect fitI will definitely buy more when a style and a price I like comes about, no negatives for meI have wanted a pair of these iconic sandals for ages and would heartily recommend them.
