Awesome monitor
This is the greatest monitor I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned at least 9 different gaming monitors at this point. The contrast and clarity is fantastic and it’s a game changer for horror games. Refresh rate is perfect for my needs and there isn’t any blur at all. Setup was easy for me I don’t get the other reviewers grips with the setup process it was pretty cut and dry. I really enjoy the fact that it’s a smart monitor and if you don’t have a gaming console this has the capability to cloud stream Amazon Luna, GeForce, Xbox Cloud Gaming etc so even if you’re buying it for just work or whatever you have the capability to game and there isn’t any input lag. The monitor is big enough for me I sit about 2-3 feet away and see every detail no problem. I got this monitor for $650 on sale and at that price point you really can’t beat it with it being a smart monitor and all.

Just one issue
Great picture just one issue , after turning off all the standby features it still goes into standby while your using it, super annoying, the only way I found to get it to return is pressing alt + windows key + B, but who wants to continually do that I mean, like every couple of minutes.

Hybrid TV-Monitor is Amazing.
It is incredibly good.Although wait till the microled variant makes it.The image is crystal clear, and it's very responsive for gaming purposes, the top brightness is not amazing and it certainly is not designed to be used on a sunny room, which in my case I did know on advance, I bought it for its magic ace up the sleeve. The best feature? I can pick up the remote and lay on my bed, connect to my bluetooth headphones, use netflix, or whatever application I'd expect from a great smart TV, it is an amazing experience to quickly switch between modes.

Good. But not perfect
So This is a beautiful monitor. I just feel like in this price range there should be some things that this doesn’t have. Like it almost seems like they were more focused on making a smart TV than a computer monitor. The bezels are pretty big for a monitor this pricey. I really like having tiny bezels. And this has tome pretty obvious black bars. The speakers, While they are a nice addition. I almost wish they weren’t there because they aren’t the greatest sounding thing in the world. Same with the smart functions. It seems like they are charging for smart features I dont really care to have. My computer can already….go to Netflix. Or watch YouTube. And it’s a lot more fluid than Samsungs smart tv functions. I feel like if you’re only going to have one Monitor. And you dont have a TV in your room… Than this is probably a pretty great option because it has all that built in. But me personally. I dont want to pay more for that stuff. I’d rather save a few bucks and have no smart features. This monitor does look beautiful. Colors are awesome. Image is sharp and smooth. It’s a bit plasticky feeling. Over all I do really like this. But I do think they could have skipped a few things to either add more monitor stuff. Or save a few bucks.

Overall beautiful monitor
Stunning, love that it also is a TV. Brightness is a little low compared to Mac at full brightness, but overall great. Wish ps5 was connected rather than Xbox.

Samsung Needs to do Better (Updated)
Let me start by saying I am a Samsung fanboy with more samsung products in my house than I care to admit. I already have one of the original 49 inch odessey monitors but wanted to look at QD Oled as a new option for gaming. After just two days of trying to get this panel to be a good PC monitor, I have decided to return it and go with a competitor who is also using this QD OLED panel but just not trying to be a TV at the same time.PROS- Quality design. Nice to see them providing what I believe to be a very nice design that is not your typical gaudy gaming design by other manufacturers. This looks good on a gaming desk or a work desk. Very thin, small footprint stand- WHEN IT WORKED, the screen looked incredible. HDR in gaming is incredible, video content that is HDR looks STUNNING.- If you have a Samsung TV now you will be very familiar with the menu structure and settings as they are pretty much the same.CONS- Screen would often turn on with pixelation as shown in one of my images. The images with the black screen is also when the monitor is on but would not pick up a reception from my computer.- Screen kept kicking me out of PC mode and sending me back to the TV channel list where I spent more time watching the fireplace channel than working in my PC- In an effor to put TV features in your face, they drop the ball on doing either very well and it's frustrating- EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU GO INTO PC MODE, you must endure the panel displaying its ridiculus gamer bar, plus gamer bar 'how to' then volume menu and occasionally the system would shut down. WHO AT SAMSUNG THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD UX.- It is leaning too heavily into the TV side of the feature set, so much so that the panel will not pass through the mouse and keyboard functions through its USB ports when you reboot your PC and need to get into your bios. None of the settings available to me would allow to configure for USB passthrough. I am willing to acknowledge there might have been something I did not setup correctly, but Samsung is not making it easy for me to find if it does exist.NUETRAL- The panel often wants to run a 'recalibration' after you turn it on which takes 10 minutes or so- No burn in warranty. I can't call this a negative as I knew this before I purchased, but the more I looked into it, the compitition is using this same Samsung panel in their monitors and offering burn in as part of thier warranty and I find it odd that Samsung does not do the same.UPDATED- Be mindful of the return process and attempting so use the the QR code method. I found out many of the UPS locations are not equipped with the hardware to handle this so you must take items to a UPS store specifically. So rathe than a 15 minute trip to my local shop that supports UPS I had an hour trip to my closes UPS full store.- Refund process takes longer than expected as 8 days after confirmation they have recieved the item still nothing has processed. The few time I have returned an item I have not had this long of a processing time.
