Raised my low pH and low Alkalinity
I found that my aquarium had low pH levels and low alkalinity levels so I decided to give this a try based off of a recommendation from Reddit. Not only did it solve my issue, it actually looks pretty cute with the small shell pieces. I definitely recommend boiling and rinsing it multiple times because it is very dusty.

Looks Awesome!
The best thing about getting this was also getting the memo beforehand to RINCE it thoroughly, and then again even. It still clouded the water in my tank a touch but not so much the filter system didn't handle it easily, it was crystal clear the next morning, with the coral sparkling white. The hardness of the water is high right now, but once it is all filled and fully diluted it'll start to drop. My well water is hard too, so that's a variable also. I'll be using a LOT of this in the future, no doubt. Well worth the 18 bucks.

Maintain the ph
Use this to maintain the ph in my small above ground outdoor pond...we have low ph from the tap and our rainwater is also low ph... and this keeps the ph regulated in a gradual and moderating way. Will never go above 8.5...but raises ph gradually and stops working once equilibrium is achieved. Super solution! I placed it in a media bag and hung it right by the filter pump. Obviously---rinse, rinse, rinse first!

Good product but do boil
You must bring your coral to a rolling boil. Started a fresh tank with all new equipment. Several days later had planaria.

PH nightmare fix
I am sooo glad we found this product. When I say our tank was in dangerous territory....our PH was about a 3.5. I am really lucky all fish were not dead. So, I bought some bags, boiled the snot out of a few scoops and started adding a small bit at a time to the tank with mesh bags. We now have a healthy living environment and I will be dropping the contents of the bags to the bottom with the gravel to maintain levels. I kept them in bags until I knew I had enough (and ya know...not too much...because...things happen and I only trust things so far without testing for myself).

Great to help deal with pH issues, but rinse thoroughly first.
I'm not sure what happened, but for some reason my tank lost all of it's buffering capacity and the pH started to sink. I read online about using Aragonite to increase buffering (and therefore stabilize/increase pH). Well, it worked spectacularly. I added two (well rinsed) handfuls of this to a media bag, and waited. It took about two days, but my pH started creeping back up. I used a digital pH reader to monitor progress. I was aiming for 6.5 to 7.0. When I saw it get just over 7, I took some out. Right now, my pH has been at a stable 6.7/6.8 for about two weeks. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who has tap water with a low pH, is having pH problems, or is keeping fish that require a higher pH. The raise was effective but gradual, and non of my fish were bothered by the slow change. When the pieces start to get too scummy, you can just toss them and add the same amount back in. If you're using it for any of these things, this bag size will last you an incredibly long time. Make sure you RINSE REALLY WELL. This stuff is practically coated in white powder, and if you don't rinse them extremely thoroughly, it will cloud you tank water up. I rinsed by just squishing them around in the media bag under the faucet for several minutes.

Highly recommend!
Works great in a bag in your filter to puffer saltwater. Good Value

Successfully adjusted ph
I put some of this in a little mesh bag in my aquarium filter and it successfully raised the ph. The mystery snails are much happier now.
