Not really thrilled with this brand of freeze dried strawberries. I have previously ordered the nutristore brand which I would rate as a 5: really great taste and no question that they are strawberries because they are actual sliced strawberries. I wanted to try this brand for one reason only—they were much less expensive.I agree with other reviewers that these taste just ok. I add them to my special K triple berry cereal. They are made in china so I wonder what other ingredients are in these little uniform nuggets that don’t resemble strawberries at all besides the fact that they are red and taste a somewhat like strawberries. The taste is nowhere near the nutristore brand of strawberries—which is superb! I will be going back to the nutristore brand after this little diversion in trying a different brand. In this case you do get what you pay for. It’s worth the extra dollars for the taste alone. I will not stray again.
