I used this to replace 44 year old straps on 2 reusable shopping bags that I loved and didn't want to trash. I never thought I would find the right material to fix them but this is perfect.Now I need to find ways to use the remainder of strapping because this is a lot of material. I may try to sew shopping bags for friends just to use this material.

Not 100% cotton. I burned a small piece and it did have melted bits. So there is some polyester or nylon in this webbing. Keep it out of the sun (don't store in the car) to keep it in good condition.

This 1” cotton webbing is well made. It is a total of 36’ long. It’s pliable but still has a tight weave which adds to durability. It does take dye and can be painted on. It’s easy to sew on and stays straight when applied to bags or backpacks. Very nice find.

The media could not be loaded. Suppose I missed the bit in the description where they said to melt the ends together. Dead give away it wasn't cotton. Still terrible false marketing to call this cotton. Should have the word anywhere near this listing. It's polyester
