I’ve owned and appreciated the original version of this product and the newer “smart” version for several years, and the 500W models work great for smaller spaces like bedrooms and bathrooms, but my office does not have central heat at all and on cold mornings needed a bit more heat than those units could provide to quickly get the room up to a comfortable temperature in the morning. So the “max” version with twice the heat output just makes sense.This is, in most respects, identical to the “smart” 500W version. It uses the same excellent installation procedure where you don’t need a tape measure, or level, or even drill to get it installed exactly right, just a Phillips screwdriver and the included hole template. (you do need to put 2 holes in the drywall, but I just punch the screwdriver through rather than drilling, I think it creates less dust) It uses the same app and same very simple pairing process. And has the same nice features of silent operation and no too-hot-to-touch surfaces. Where it differs is it is about 30% thicker, has twice the heat output, and has a much larger, color, display that is easily read at a distance.For my office I created a schedule on the app that sets the thermostat to 68F about 15 minutes before I usually start work and drops it to 45F at the end of the work day. With the schedule running I can basically ignore the heater entirely. It keeps my office comfortable when I’m there and uses a minimal amount of power to keep things from getting excessively cold when I’m away.

Do Not Buy - read comment."Not energy efficient at all.!!!" I only used the heater, for a over a month. That month my electric bill was over $100 more a month. my normal winter heating bill..!!! Plus, a couple of months ago I bought a little heater that was only being used on the low/medium heat. Which I put under my house, for the extra cold winter months.!! That raised my electric bill a little. But was not nearly as much as this heater above.!

The media could not be loaded. Instal was the easiest thing ever! I appreciated the installation frame template so that I didn’t have to measure it out and worry about it. Sturdy template so no issues at all. It only took me a couple of minutes.Read the directions. lol. I couldn’t get it to turn on and I called the company. They walked me through the safety feature. They were so nice and patient. The reason for it not coming on was in the directions and even had a special sticker but I was impatient and only saw it afterwards…. Oops!!! User error.The heat was really nice and not the suffocating central air eat. I hate using central air and have been looking for a solution for my living room that stays colder than the rest of my house. We have a small fire place heater but it uses so much electricity and I basically cried when we opened the light bill this month. I will update after the heater is on for a bit.

So got this heater for my upstairs office which had no central heating. I saw how cool it looked and thought it looked so much better than an average heater. So I got it. It was very easy to install and it only took two screws to mount it to the wall. Runs with no noise at all and heats the space perfectly. A great buy. Very happy with this purchase.

Extreme rate high in our electricity bills. I'm not sure what we were expecting, but the base board heating was far cheaper.

Easy to install using the provided template. Small footprint- hugs the wall. Doesn’t make any noise. Easy to connect to WiFi for app control. Works as it should. Made in USA. Solid build. Heats quickly. A very good buy.

Purchased six of these for my Cape Cod style home that I rent on Airbnb. The app was pretty easy to install and configure so no issues there. you will have to adjust the sensor on the device a bit as It was pretty off of the actual temperature in Each of the rooms but eventually I was able to get it close. it is absolutely dead silent just as advertised so that's another big plus as I purchased these in order to semi retire my gas boiler radiator system which is really noisy and my Airbnb guests have complained about that.I'm now monitoring the temperature each day to see if they are any cold spots in the house where I need to add another one or 2 in order to complete the installation. I can Already tell in the open area which is the living room i'll need a second device.By themselves they will struggle if it is less than 45 degrees outside so I am using them in conjunction with the mini splits which aren't that powerful but aid them just enough to keep the rooms at 70 degrees today while it is 35 degrees out.Installation was super quick, its literally just two screws to mount it to the wall. What took the most amount of time was organizing the power cable with a track system I purchased here on Amazon (see pics). That took about two times longer as I wanted it to look neat.

Definitely not much for a heater my $30 Walmart heater does a better job than this thing. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for using in a freezing climate it won’t heat up a room by itself self alone.
