Love this gadget. Easily minces garlic & is just as easy to clean. A must have for anyone who uses a lot of garlic.

I love this product! If you use a lot of garlic and prefer fresh dice over jarred, this will make your life much easier. Peel and slice the garlic clove , insert into the press and voila! You want chunky dice, slice it thick. You want tiny dice, slice it thin. It's possible to put a whole clove in the press if it isn't to big, but I prefer to slice them first. You can stack several slices before pressing too. Icing on the cake...it is very easy to clean and you can add the excess on the white grid to whatever you are cooking. Pieces stuck to the grate easy come off with a brush.I have bought several, one for me and the others for gifts. They are no longer available in store, so I was happy to find them here because of course I wanted one for a Christmas gift! Happy dicing!

For those (like me) who hate chopping garlic, this little marvel is a godsend. Simple and effective- small and easy to store, and easy to clean - so much easier to clean than a garlic press. But it really shines when recipes call for cooking the garlic, sautéing a vegetable with garlic for example. The small pieces of garlic from this dicer are just the right size. They don't burn and they keep the garlic flavor of the dish. I love to cook with garlic and this dicer is an indispensable part of my kitchen equipment. I love it!

This is so easy to use and it gets the job done without having to put too much pressure on your hands. I’m a senior with arthritis in both hands and I have no difficulty mincing garlic with this garlic press. I grew up in an Italian family where garlic and olive oil are absolute staples of cooking. This little gadget really works but has its down sides. #1 - Garlic always gets stuck in the ridges and cleaning is very difficult, even with a toothpick, # 2 - it retains a lingering, persistent garlic smell. I’ve tried soaking it in a solution of detergent, baking soda and vinegar immediately after using but the smell is too pervasive. # 3 - I m not sure this is BPA free. I can not find any information relating to this on the website.Note: the pressed garlic is a larger constancy than from your usual hand held garlic press. It’s thicker and longer, much more chunky (not as liquified). I personally like the finer grate as it melds into your food but this is easier).

I bought this because I didn't want the hassle of a garlic press, and it is totally worth it. I also don't smell like garlic after I peel everything, which is a massive benefit.
