Amazed and glad I upgraded
Every thing about this product is beyond expectations. Range, capabilities, speed, setup seamless.. I brag about these like I was obsessed, but beyond everything I expected. One area noteworthy- they do put off heat and not just a little. I could handle one after it was one for several days to weeks, but was more a bit caught off guard for a moment. Not a single regret getting these.

Requires POE, works well.
High performance, but be aware that it does require PoE and doesn't come with an injector. Would be nice to see at this price point, but being the pro series I suppose it's ok to assume that folks will account for that. The Cloud Gateway Ultra not having a single POE port was a bummer. Had to toss a generic PoE+ unmanaged switch from a big box store in the mean time.

Worked will right out of the box, and has continued to work.

Fast WiFi, Frustrating Software Issues
Amazing WiFi performance when working, but comes with a significant annoyance. Every few months, it loses adoption with the UniFi controller for no apparent reason. Only fix is a complete reset and readoption - time-consuming and disruptive for a premium AP.WiFi 7 speeds are impressive when functioning. Coverage and throughput exceed previous UniFi APs. Hardware feels solid and installation is straightforward with PoE (adapter not included).Pros:Excellent WiFi performanceGood coverageSolid buildCons:Periodic controller disconnects requiring resetExpensive for unstable softwareNo PoE adapter includedConsider if top WiFi speeds are priority, but be prepared for maintenance headaches.

Great access point!
The 2.4g/5g coverage is amazing, even better than a few major "enterprise" vendors. 6ghz has been great for the devices I have support it. Just remember you do need to have the Unfi controller setup or use their cloud offering.

Good performance and features
While doing research on this product, I misunderstood something. I thought these would work by attaching directly to Ubiquiti's cloud for management without any cost. Obviously, I then had trouble when trying to set this up. After discussing it with a friend, I learned the real situation and was disappointed. Initially, I set up the control software on my media PC. It runs as a virtual machine on Proxmox so it is on all the time. However, I didn't like that solution. Eventually, I managed to load it up in a Linux container that also runs on Proxmox. I find that to be a much better solution and am now reasonably happy with the product. As the title says, I do like the features and performance here. It is very nice for a home setup and almost good enough for a business deployment.

More equipment is needed to be plug and play.
I am sure it’s a great device but it’s does not work well unless you by into there whole ecosystem and subscribe to there cloud service. I spent a day trying to get it to work without there command appliance. There are no. Clear manuals for this when it doesn’t work. I purchased a less expensive router/ap and it’s was configured and working in 15 minutes of being out of box
