I use this guitar to play clone hero & fortnite stage. It’s pretty solid overall, easy set up plug & play. I’m pretty close to my computer so I can’t really say how good the connectivity is but I haven’t disconnected once. It’s wireless so you don’t have to deal with a cord, the performance is pretty solid each button works and functions good I’ve had it for quite a bit of time playing expert on clone hero.If I had one complaint once you’ve got it connected you almost have to disconnect the usb or walk away for 20-30 minutes to be able to use your mouse again on your computer. It pretty much over rides all functionality of your mouse inputs.

Like many people here, I just wanted a GH feeling guitar that would take me back to my childhood. It works flawlessly with GHDE and clone hero. The build quality is solid and in many areas even better than the ones we used playing GH growing up. Best of all, the strum and fret buttons are clicky and mechanical just how I like it. Rock band guitars are just not for me. I would highly recommend this option if you don't want to deal with buying used on marketplace or ebay

I've purchased now a total of 3 of these( 1 from this supplier and 2 feom another but they are the same guitar) in hopes of playing Clone Hero on PC with friends. The main issue is these are programmed as keyboards so it causes a lot of issues when trying to play local multiplayer and I couldn't really find help.For solo play, or online multiplayer, no issues.The workaround:*Plug in both usb sticks to computer.*Set both guitars to Xinput mode (holding ps and select button I believe)*Use software that allows you to convert keyboard input to controller. I am using reWASD but anything should work.*Go into Clone Hero's settings, assign each guitar and begin mapping. If a keypress is duplicated, go into your software and change the mapped key.*Profit

I have been using this guitar hero guitar for over a week straight with every day sessions on guitar hero using rpcs3, and it works perfectly with rpcs3 on every guitar hero game you throw at it! From guitar hero 3 to metallica and everything else, i have also downloaded rockband but i believe im going to get the same results even tho the advertising claims that it aint compatible with rockband 1. As someone who had a friend back in the day that wanted to play guitar hero and rock band every day back in middle school and early high school, when times were simpler going to concerts and having an actual band and playing guitar with friends was a huge deal, this is as close as you would get to the OEM guitar hero guitar. Some arcades still have guitar hero, tho the oem guitars are heavily used, they still work, and this doyo guitar works just like a brand new oem. Overall, i can’t understand why people are so negative about it, if you’re playing on pc (which is most of us these days if you want clone hero or guitar hero via rpcs3) then this would be your dream come true! If youre looking at all those wii versions with the adapters that are impossible to find then you’re wasting your time. Don’t listen to the negative reviews out there about this guitar, get it and trust me you wont regret it!

Everything worked but I for the life of me can't get it to strum trough the menus so I can't even make a single point. Really disappointed. Such a waste. Literally the most important part of the thing. I would've been fine with a Button but the strum key? Seriously?

Bought for daughter and I to play guitar hero and we play it alot. I taught her to play on this and now she's a pro player.
