Roland FoodsSalsa Macha, 6.8 Ounce Jar, Pack of 1

I was in Mexico and came across this type of chili oil recently and just loved it. I was hoping to find something similar in the states. Went on Amazon and saw a few, this was the most reasonably priced so i got it. The heat level is perfect for me, tons of flavor without burning my mouth off. I usually like spicy jalapenos but not habaneros. So that ball park. If your interested, I'd say give it a try!

I was pleased to receive this salsa. It is very spicy so only a small amount is needed to give your food a punch. I add to my pan when I sauté my vegetables. It adds a bit of oil and a ton of flavor. I also added it to the pan when I salted fish. It can be used with a number of products. I would have given it a 5 star except for the fact the jar arrived with a bit of a leak even though it was sealed.

The sauce had a good spice level and tasted really good. It’s great to spice up up simple dishes quickly.

Mine arrived with the seal and jar seemingly in tact, but the envelope was soaked and spicy smelling, and the liquid level in the jar does not appear close to full. I was hesitant to try it just out of being worried for food safety reasons, but I was going to try it for a marinade anyways. It had an incredibly pungent smell, and not in a good way. I might stick to my usual chili garlic paste to add a little spice to my dishes from now on.

My family didn't like this salsa spread. It is very spicy and has a very unique flavor, not one we enjoyed. Nothing wrong with it otherwise.

This small 6.8 oz jar of Roland Foods Salsa Matcha came intact and fresh. The jar was really hard to open. Took both of us and a lot of beating on the lid to get it opened. This is not traditional salsa. It is a chili crunch oil. Good to add to tacos, burritos and eggs. Not a chip dip. Spicy and very oily. The bits are at the bottom of the jar. A spoon is needed to get the bits out and onto the main entree. Gives tacos a zing of new flavors.
