I searched the world over.... for low (less than 6mm) heel to toe lift ratio. These were top rated as such shoes. So much cushion! Yet low profile shoe. Feels like the right balance for me! Love the curved out design. Makes my size 11 foot appear smaller. Lightweight. Great color too! Dark grey lovely sage/minty green laces and accents. Ordering a 2nd pair !

These are a neutral sneaker that feel great on my feet. Other brands of sneakers cause the bottom of my foot to feel pinched, but the wider toe bed and the arch support are just right on these. I've received several compliments about the cute bright blue color. I usually wear a size 7 and I ordered a 7.5 to give my foot a little bit of extra room.

Well made shoe and comfortable for casual walking or running errands but I prefer the Altra Olympus style for distance walking or standing on my feet a lot. The toe box is wide but this style seems slightly more narrow across the widest part of my foot, compared to the Olympus. That is why I only gave 4 stars.

I bought these to replace my Torin 6 shoes that are 3 years old. They fit essentially the same. I have to wear 0.5-1 size larger than my other Altras in these; the Torin shoes run more narrow through the heel and mid foot, which works great for me, but that’s why I have to size up. The toe box is still sufficiently roomy. I love these and think they provide sufficient cushion. I think the Torin 7 is improved from the Torin 6, and has better heel stability and arch cushion.I’m glad I got these for a reduced price — they arrived with dirty soles and covered in dog hair. Clearly not used heavily, but shouldn’t have been marked “new”. If they hadn’t been marked down, I would’ve sent them back and reordered. The ones I got weren’t sold by the Altra store, but by a company called “Blazing Prices” that redirected me back to Altra when I tried to leave a review.

The Torin 6 & 7 are NOTHING like all other prior versions. These are extremely expensive sneakers that I use to love and now I hate them. They are too long and narrow My size 8.5 fits like a 10 and gives my heels blisters from the sliding around. I am SO UPSET that I bought the 6’s and did not like them and then gave the 7’s a chance. I emailed Altra to let them know and they only responded with “thank you or your feedback after Ij sun spent $300 on 2 pairs of worthless sneakers. Now after using these since 2018 I will have to try to find some HOKA’s or something that may work for me. Ugh.

The media could not be loaded. The colors are really great, I love the contrast of yellow and blue. The size seems accurate. These are very well-cushioned, but they also feel a bit inflexible because of that. Strike 1) The cushioning is not as soft as my Topo sneakers that have the Ortholite insoles. Strike 2) I can feel the seam on the inside, at the top of the shoe where the lace and tongue insertion site is. The layers are not sewn together, and I can feel where the two layers of fabric meet which results in irritation. Strike 3) overall, the stitching seems inadequate and unfinished. I’ll stick with ACICS and Topo sneakers.

Had to go up 1/2 size to get the right fit, but I love these shoes. Nice big toe box. Perfect for those of us with square feet! Sole gives a great balance platform.
