Age is definitely catching up with Tonks, my 16yr old cat. She's having more trouble moving these days, and her fur was starting to look worse. I already had her on a collagen supplement tablet, but this had a tendency to upset her stomach if not crushed, and she was never that fond of the taste avoiding the bit of food with it on until last. Also it seems to have become hard to get hold of.I tried this as an alternative and first off, no tummy upsets, it seems to having a more noticeable effect on her mobility and fur and most importantly... Even though this stuff looks and smells disgusting, she goes crazy for it! She reacts to this with the same excitement as she does a licky licks treat, in fact whilst originally I would give her this straight from the dropper, I've had to stop as she kept trying to eat that too! Now I've started adding it to her food instead, and she eats the bit I've added it to first. The complete opposite of what she used to do with the previous supplement.I know realistically I don't have that much time with her left, but unless it's my wishful imagination, I think this is improving the quality of that time. Even if it is my wishful imagination, at the very least she thinks she's getting a daily treat and that's something.

Easy to use & my cats love it. Not sure if it is helping with joint care, but their coats are a lot softer & their skin is not as dry.

This is collagen support, so why is ginger needed to “sooth their digestive system”? The other ingredients are good and ginger is safe, I checked (had to edit this review, I thought it was on long list of those considered unsafe or toxic, but was wrong).Still, I'd prefer it if they did not add random herbal ingredients, because it's unnecessary. I already give mine a joint supplement that contains MSM.. If they're adding that, they might as well add the rest and make it a joint supplement.Mine hate salmon flavour and that is also unnecessary, as you can just add this to food.But this is good for extra collagen, which supports joints and loads of other things: skin, coat etc. Especially good for elderly cats.This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy. My cat is quite old and her fur is looking patchier. When I brush her, lots of hair comes off and it’s prone to breakage. I read that collagen supplements can help cats, so I thought I would give these a try.I tried giving her the drops in the water bowl, but she just left the water. I tried them in her food and she was happier with that.I think her coat is looking and feeling a bit better now. Not sure how much of it is the drops, but I’ll keep using the bottle and see if there are changes when I stop.

I have an elderly cat who has arthritis and suffers from stiff joints, especially in the cold/damp weather.The fluid looks almost like gravy, and though it doesn't smell appetising to me my cat obviously loves it because he goes mad for it as soon as I open the box. I really like that it can be fed directly from the dropper (which is what I do) or can be put on food which would be very handy if your cat isn't as keen as mine. I like that the dropper is marked with the millilitres so it's very easy to get the dose right.After a couple of weeks I can definitely see the difference in my cat, he's moving better and just generally looks happier. As a bonus, other than the benefits to his joints his fur also looks smooth and glossy, and eyes clear and bright.Overall I'm very pleased with this cat supplement, it's great for elderly cats and is easy to feed. I would definitely recommend it. 5*

My cat is getting on a bit now and I've noticed she's always stretching her back legs. I put 2 drops, once a day, of this salmon flavoured supplement in some fish flavoured food. She doesn't seem to notice the supplement and hopefully it is helping her joints a little bit.

The glass pipette is really helpful for dispensing the correct dose. I have experience with this brand and my cat loves the taste of these collagen supplements just as much as the others. I drizzle 0.5ml onto his dry food and he eats it all up. He is quite fussy and won’t eat salmon oil, so I didn’t know if he would take to this ‘salmon flavour’ collagen but he has without a hitch. For the price of £14.99, at the time of this review, I think this is good value. I cannot comment on the long term gains, as it is too new, but I can say that my cat is super happy to take his supplements. 5 stars.
