Great way to start your PECS ! Provides many words functional for a toddler to big kid ! Big enough to place many words on one page and light enough for a child to carry !

I love the amount of variety of pictures this has. We got this as a cheaper PECs system for our autistic kids. Great visual aid and easy to use. The size is perfect as well as the sides of the cards. Perfect value price. Only down side is I wish the cards were laminated. That would help the quality and sturdiness of the product. Otherwise extremely useful for our situation.

The product itself is good, once you get it set up. Set up does take a long time because you have to punch out all the cards, and they aren’t sturdy or laminated on the back so they can rip the back off easily if you aren't careful. The main thing is that it is apparently intended for use in other English speaking countries as it uses words like “trousers” for pants, and “football” for a soccer ball. There are about 10-12 cards that don’t make sense for a kid in the US. Perfect if you live in the UK, but can be problematic in the US once the kid begins to read.But there are different color cards to go with different color pages/sections of the board, and a good variety of categories for the cards. I’ll be making some changes where I can but may need to make some new ones. They do send about 15 blank cards which will be helpful for those cards with different terms.

This visual communication book is great! It is a really nice quality. It gives you the ability to use your own icons in the book. This is a must have if you work in a special education classroom.

This PECS book is well thought out. It includes activities that a child would encounter on a daily basis. Some children with autism work better with a visual schedule. Visual schedules help transitions for some and may help to prevent behaviors. The felt pieces allow for young learners to move things around on their own. This book can be used as a token board to help motivate little ones to make good choices. It has the ability to propel communication for nonverbal children. The book is organized well allowing for communication across topics.

Easy to use, good size, and durable. Has great picture quality, very detailed and well printed. For everything it comes with, it’s a great price for the value. The only thing I don’t like is how it has sections of other things that aren’t listed in the book, so there’s no where to put the other flash cards, it’s very weird. Also the alphabets were put into separate sheets all scattered instead of just one or two sheets together. A-T on one sheet, U-Y on another with other flash cards, then Z by itself with other cards. Didn’t make sense when Z could have been with the other letters and not just in a random sheet. Overall still great but just a little disorganized on the manufacturing.

I thought the cards were going to be thicker or laminated then what they were. Does it's job for my daughter but cards get easily damaged not a long term product other than the binder.
