At this price it's got some manufacturing shortcuts that make it more a costume than a dress you might use more frequently. And that's sort of what I expected. Yes the material is thin. What surprised me, and you can just about make it out in the photos of the dress, is that the flower embroidered ribbons that are attached are single color in white thread, and the center of the flowers appear to be colored with a marker, not always accurately. In a dress I paid more for you'd see a different color thread to be used in the flowers design, often yellow. So it's kind of not for some up-close semi formal interaction; could work for a stage or performance.
