Great brush
This is a great brush. I have a Bichon whose hair can easily get tangled or matted. This has helped with maintaining her coat. The brush is easy to handle and clean. The quality feels pretty good. It is made out of wood which is nice, but different than other plastic ones I have used in the past. My pup did chew on it a bit, but it hasn't affected its usefulness.

Great brush for longer hair with undercoat
The longer times on this slicker brush work great on my shepherd husky mix. She has a longish coat with thick undercoat, the Furminator doesn't get deep enough, but these slicker brushes do!! This one is a bit smaller than my older brush, but a smaller base is nice for getting into the little spaces (legs, armpits, around the head). If you have a super hairy beast and other brushes don't do the trick, give this a try!

Sorry but no stars for this product.
I have to admit, I just don't know the magic secret that makes this dog brush functional. My dog hates this brush as much as I do. We have a 2 year old sheepadoodle and regardless of what their advertising says and promises this product is a total fail.I have reconsidered, I will give this brush 1 star, only because it was well packaged.

Hard to clean
Bristles are very strong and get deep into my dogs coats and helps get the winter coat I’ve been having troubles with!! It’s hard to get the hair out of them to clean it though, trying not to poke you fingers is rough. I do love how thick the handle is and how easy it is to grip. Its comfortable to hold even for my 5&7 year old. This is a great de shedder to get despite cleaning the hair out of the bristles.

Lightweight and effective
This brush is nice to hold and really works well on my Cockapoo. I’m sure it would be great on a doodle too. It has bristles that are bent at the ends which I guess helps it make its way through the fur. I have lots of brushes but still found this one very nice to use. My dog’s coat looked much better after a quick brush.

Easy to hd
The media could not be loaded. This medium size slicker is a great tool to have. The handle is easy to hold, and has a softer feel to it. Easy to clean the hair out of the bristles.

Very small for the price and the quality just isn't there.
This brush was actually an even smaller size than I thought it would be. I was looking for a smaller high quality brush for our Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle mix) but this brush just reminds me of the bargin bin ones you get at your local pet-shop, usually with the name of the store on the tag of the brush. It's pretty small so the value is definetly not there for what you get and even the tines are fairly flexible and bend too much to get a really good brushing and remove any mats that have started. I ended up dropping this in our dog drawer as a backup brush and purchased a much higher quality brush at our local pet shop that was a better overall value.

Nice Basic Dog Slicker Brush
Paw Brothers Big Paw Dog Slicker (Medium) - I have a double coated dog who didn't mind this brush. And a doodle dog who didn't want me to use this brush on them and kept running away. This dog loves brushing and pets. As I don't speak dog, I have no idea as to why the lack of preference. The brush itself is not small, but is medium. It's a nice brush with rubber coating over hard plastic and the wire bristles do not have tipped/protective ends. I didn't mind that it did not have those. It has a contoured handle that fits nicely in the hand, but it is a little narrow. The wires are set securely in a rubber cushion. These do not feel coated for anti-tangling. The price is steep for a basic dog slicker brush and that effects its value negatively.
