The shelves are only cardboard
I was looking for something for work for everyone's mail. This was priced right. The only thing I don't really like is that the shelves are cardboard so they're not the sturdiness but, it serves its purpose. iIt's very nice looking. Everyone liked it.

Great for the classroom!
Great addition to a small classroom. Students love to put their notebooks, clipboards, etc in their "own" space. Was not so easy for me to assemble, if the directions had words along with the illustrations, it would have been better. Other than that, it's a great product for the money!

Another shelf I got from SafCo had masonite shelves. I was disappointed to find that this one has cardboard shelves. Hopefully they hold up.

Just OK
I desperately needed mailboxes for my classroom. I saw this piece and felt it would be the perfect fit for my room. It was easy to put together and the structure itself is sturdy. However, the shelves are cardboard with a plastic piece that attaches to the end to finish it off. This would be fine if the plastic piece attached securely. Every day, most shelves lose this piece and I have to reattach it. Over time the cardboard shelves are taking a beating. Not sure how many years I'll get from this piece. For $96 I thought it would be something that would last.

Perfect
I’ve been needing classroom mailboxes and these are perfect! It is sturdy and durable, stands up to my rough 6/7 year olds and just what I was looking for!

Cool idea but too flimsy
I got this for my classroom, for students to store their math books. It was so hard to assemble! The black "guards" for the edges of the shelves would NOT stay on. Both my students and Intried for several days to put them on securely, and eventually gave up. It mostly worked even without the guards, but they provide a lot of structural support, and so by the end of the school year the whole unit was completely destroyed.

If you upgrade the material on the back fro that supplied, the unit is fine
This unit needs a stiffer back to make it rigid. The supplied cardboard is not sufficient to hold the case rigid and in shape. The vertical sides bow out under the weight of the top and any papers stored within and the horizontal shelves pull out of their slots. We pinned cross braces and mdf across the back to make it useable as a free standing unit

Paper sorter/ Classroom mailbox
I like the sturdy frame, was not happy with cardboard shelves. When I put it together, it was sturdier than expected. It was difficult to put on the plastic front pieces.

A good, relitively sturdy, filing system
Perfect if a little pricy but nothing else out there like it. Easily stores A4 documents and to give an Idea, in one of the bottom trays, I keep a sheaf of printer paper. Really easy to assemble and certainly has aided my organisation in the office.
