Work very well, but maybe not all that useful.
The scorecard notebooks work well even in the rain, but I've found that I don't actually use them since you're provided a scorecard at the pro shop.

Not too big, not too small, and waterproof. A must have to be on the links while imbibing an adult beverage. Nice quality and easy flipping. No hang ups with wire binding. Only regret is set didn’t come with a golf themed pen.
