Accurate and simple and fast to operate
Worked perfectly and accurately. Cross tested against other wattage indicators. SImple. Really did not need to read the directions. They messed up and labeled the output as input and vice versa but essentially it didn't matter as its clear which they really are for me.

excellent little digital wonder!!
Very sophisticated USB tester.Actually the best one I've seen on Amazon.Does almost everything you can imagine to trigger assorted fast charge protocols, and displays an abundant amount of info.Very handy at testing chargers claims, and seeing into how your charger or device is performing. An absolute MUST have in you tech testing box!!

Good, but not perfect - 4.5 stars
This review is for the FNIRSI FNAC-28 2 in 1 USB Tester.I have several types of USB testers. In principle, they are all the same. One end is connected to the source (a USB battery, a solar panel with USB output or a wall charger) and the other is connected to the device using the power. To check out this USB tester, I connected a couple of USB batteries to my current USB testers and this one by FNIRSI.The FNIRSI USB tester is a nicer product with a nice looking case and easy to use buttons. The screen on my other testers are larger and are able to rotate the screen 90, 180 or 270 degrees. The user interface buttons on the other testers also rotate with the screen. The voltage and current measurements on my other testers are easier to read because of their screen layout and larger screen size. The FNIRSI tester has a small manual. It is not awesome, but my other testers didn’t even come with instructions. I get that product is small, so the manual is physically small also, but there is no excuse now days to not have product information online or included in the product listing. That said, I appreciate that it came with a useable manual. The FNIRSI tester can test for Quick Charge compatibility. I tested it with several of my USB batteries and it was correct every time. On the down side, I was not able to get it to test the power delivery protocol via the USB-C port. I do not think it supports power delivery testing. When using the same battery, cables and load, my other testers agree to within less than a tenth of a volt. The FNIRSI was off from the others by more than two tenths of a volt.In summary, I like the tester. It has useful instructions, nicer buttons and has a more polished appearance. All of the electronic components are safely tucked away inside the case. Unfortunately, the voltage measurements on my tester seemed to be a little off and the main screen is not as convenient to read.Would I order it again if I needed another USB tester? Yes.

Saved me from making costly replacements
Having this USB Multimeter has saved me from having to replace two of my security cameras. To of my indoor security cameras had stopped working, and I was about to replace them when I figured I'd do a check with this multimeter. Both cameras had power, but were unresponsive over wifi. Using this multimeter I was able to determine that the USB power adapters were the problem. They were no longer outputting enough power for the cameras. Instead of replacing the cameras, I only had to replace the power supplies. This USB multimeter is a great diagnostic tool to have at your disposal. I highly recommend it.

Really nice little tester
Really nice little tester. Can quickly test the output source to see what it is capable of powering. Easy to navigate menu system even without having read the manual first (phhttt, who reads those anyways?)

Useful, but not ultimate USB tester
I ordered this USB tester from Fnirsi to test various cables I have and monitor power output/consumption.The Good:- This tester offers useful information regarding power consumption. I can use it while plugged into an Arduino or ESP32 board to monitor my projects.- It is easy to flip the screen orientation depending on how you have it plugged in by pressing the OK button while on the home screen. Unfortunately, the arrow buttons don't switch along with the screen. The let arrow is always the left arrow even if the screen is flipped which can throw you off.- The unit remembers the screen you were on the last time it was powered on. The exception is if you are in one of the screens off the Toolbox menu. For example, if you were measuring cable resistance then unplug the unit, it will start at the Settings screen when powered up again and not the cable resistance test.- After reading the instructions and all of the short vs long presses, I thought this tester was going to be a pain to use. However, it is actually fairly intuitive. For example, on graphing screens, you can press the OK button to capture a snapshot of the graph, long press the arrow buttons to increase/decrease the intervals or long press the OK button to switch graph type. The Bad:- My biggest disappointment is related to cables. I was hoping it was going to provide more information on the capabilities of different cables. For example, I have cables that do not work with ESP32 boards. This tester will tell me the charging capabilities of the cable, but there isn't enough information regarding other capabilities related to data transfer.- The instructions were very small and hard to read even with my reading glasses on.Overall, this is a handy little tool even though it doesn't help me with some of my goals such as cable capability testing.

Great usb tester! 5 stars
I am in IT and this is very cool and a must have. Any kind of tool that can make the job easier is something you want in your toolbag. This allows me to quickly verify if a USB port or usb c port is the issue itself. It works great, it lights up when it is supposed to. 5 stars!
