High price for top quality
Very sharp and well designed, so easy to use. Delivery only took 4 days from Japan.Amazon advised that there was a newer G-1205 version priced at £13.45. I decided to buy the well recommended more expensive G-1008 original at £22.89 but would like to know how the cheaper version compared. After looking at price history I see that the G-1008 was £10 to £15 from August 2016 to October 2018 before settling down at the current price of £22.89. Therefore, I think I was wrong to think the higher price meant higher quality and I should have purchased the new G-1205 and saved over £9.

I'll never need another one.
The Japanese are known to be fantastic with bladed objects and these nail clippers are no exception.Every cut is precise and sharp, I do not need to use much pressure and the nail is cut easily without chipping.I wish I had these in the past, I probably have gone through 8 cheap ones that have rusted, fallen apart, or simply squashed and bent the nail before cutting. This nail cutter puts them all to shame. It's Made In Japan, has nothing to do with cheap chinese productions and it shows.Build quality is great and I feel I will only replace it if I lose it.It has a good weight and a small quality nail file in the handle. The price is high for such a little thing at first glance, but when you realize you don't need to replace it in your lifetime it quickly earns its price tag (£21 when I ordered it).I'll be giving them as gifts and highly recommend them to all, from nail technicians to your everyday bloke who hardly takes care of his nails. They are at the top of the tree. Made in Japan, Fantastic.Arigato gozaimasu.

Best nail clippers by far…
These are fantastic clippers, my wife and I both are amazed at how well made and razor sharp they are. Easy to use and very attractive design, they occupy a prominent place on the bathroom cabinet. Thoroughly recommended, if you don’t have clippers or are thinking about buying some, these are the fellas….

A really amazing pair of clippers. 5 star
AT first you might breath deeply and say that's a bit expensive for a pair of nail clippers, but its honestly like buying a Rolls Royce or a Toyota.... they are both good products, but one is eminently better in every respect. The craftsmanship alone is something to beholden of, the working of the item is first class. In all I hope to years of service from these rather than the cheap items that have to be replaced often due to their poor cheap steel and hopeless pressings which wear quickly.

Scary sharp, will last a lifetime
Scary sharp with good length of leaver makes these a pleasure to use. The petal shaped bit on the end mskes them ergonomic to use, and nestles in your fingers, giving good control. Not the cheapest but you have to pay for quality and these should last a lifetime.

Not up to standard
There are dirts and scratches on this item. Doesn't seem new.

High quality
This is beautifully made from high quality steel and it's a joy to hold and use. It will probably last a lifetime and is well worth the money.
