I was skeptical about this shampoo working, especially on my relaxed hair. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Applied it to dry hair and went on like an actual shampoo, left on for 15 minutes and washed out - all my greys were covered and my hair felt soft. The whole process was so quick and easy and no mess unlike using box dyes.Nb/ it does stain so use the gloves provided and try not to get it on your skin i.e neck / forehead. Easy to wipe off though with abit of rubbing alcohol.

First impressions were good, it's a really big bottle for the money. I did a strand test and that was fine, no irritation, grey roots covered well and so I was happy to move forward and do my entire head the following day.And that's when it all started to go wrong. First off, when I came to use it this time the nozzle mechanism didn't work. (It was fine yesterday). I tried twisting it etc but it wouldn't press down at all. Until suddenly it did, spraying hair dye all round my bathroom including on the ceiling. After that the nozzle would depress but it was quite stiff and tricky to use.Right away I noticed that the product is now coming out in 2 separate streams, one the hair dye and the other a clear liquid. That didn't happen yesterday. There was quite a strong chemical odour which made me panic slightly that it might have contained peroxide. Having already squirted the dye directly onto my head I was committed to the process and decided to continue anyway, mixing the two components directly on my head as I went.It rubbed in easily, foamed up well on my damp hair and was easy to apply to my long hair. The product was easy to wipe off my skin. I left it for 15 minutes, it had started to trickle down my forehead and back by then.Into the shower to rinse it off and straight away I noticed that my hair felt like straw. I rinsed for ages but the water never ran clear. I had to use a lot of conditioner to deal with the dryness, and also mask the smell.I've now dried my hair and whilst the grey roots have been covered somewhat, they have only gone light brown and still stand out against the rest of my hair, which is now virtually black - it's a lot darker than I was expecting. And my hair feels awful, it's dry and staw-like. Even worse, the colour is patchy so some areas are very dark and other areas don't appear to have taken the dye at all.I'm so disappointed, I really hoped this product would work as it's so much more convenient to apply than other hair dyes and all the other reviews are very positive. But between the faulty bottle, chemical smell, straw-like hair and patchy results, there is literally nothing good about this at all and so I'm sending it back for a refund.

Long lasting and easy to use

Slowly and effortlessly adds a little colour back in to the hair. Was thinking it would leave hair course but it actually leaves it quite soft and has definitely covered the greys and enhanced the black on the normal hair.Would recommend as good value for money
