This 5kg too tight it should be loose. I never had any problems with these hand grips. I have a old hand grip 10kg to 60kg its in good condition. The 10kg is not tight it's loose wich is good for beginners.

got this for my 14 yo son and he couldn't close it completely even at lowest level. even I struggled a bit too. Though we both are not gym goers and have a lazy lifestyle to be honest.however it is comfortable to hold and use as well as the build quality is good enough.

Maybe it's just me, but are these intended for serious gym users who already have an incredibly strong grip. Set to the lowest 5kg pull, I can just manage to get them to close and click on the counter. A few pulls and that's it, I just can't do any more. Set any higher and I just can't squeeze them closed. I seriously doubt that anyone is ever going to need a 100kg setting!The value for money would be good if the item was good in function, but considering what I have said above, no they're bad value if you can't use them.
