Best Phosphatidylserine Brand
I won't be switching brands any time soon. Yes, these are expensive. However, if you are picky about your supplements, you don't regret the extra dollars spent.I previously used the Solgar Phosphatidylserine and I was generally happy with them. My only issue with Solgar was that the pill capsules would leak and stain my hands...even when stored in a cool area. This brand does not leak, the liquid capsules are small and easy to swallow, and I've noticed less of a taste in my mouth after taking these vs the Solgar version. As for their claims of mental acuity and "helps with exercise," I can vouch for both of these. Since taking this brand, I've noticed that my general ability to function in the morning (on meetings, phone calls, etc) is through the roof. I can recall words much faster, I have a ton of mental energy, and I feel less tired after the gym. I'm a huge Ray Kurzweil fan (following the recommendations on supplementation given in his book Transcend) and I supplement with just one pill daily.Pros:- Easy to swallow- Will not leak and stain- No noticeable taste after taking- Noticeable boost in mental acuity (especially in the mornings)- More energy in the gym- Soy free! Yay!Cons- A pricey buy for minimal improvement over the competitors.

This product works......
Purchased for my husband, I also started taking even though I have not tested for adreanal fatigue. Both husband and I are in our 50's, no drinking or smoking. Within 3 days of taking product 1 time a day I have been feeling so CALM all day and night and it feels great. My sleeping has improved also, I would take OTC sleep aids at night. No longer needed. I can see a difference in my husband also he is much calmer and sleeping better, he is taking 2 times a day. I hope it help with his blood pressure since he is sleeping better.I plan to keep buying this product because it works.

Caused sleepless nights. Not for me. Potentially dangerous!!!
I had rebound side effects to Holy Basil. So my naturopath gave me to reduce night time cortisol. It was calming and soothed my nervous stomach but unfortunately kept mind and body wide awake. Since taking phosphatidylserine and Holy basil I'm struggling to fall asleep or stay asleep and become feeling very stressed like steroid withdrawal. Now it has prolonged my menses..please be aware the adrenals don't work independently. Plants and vitamins can have side effects to. I'm too scared to try again. Caused severe stress and agitated and difficulty getting a full breath.Update 2/6/2021: please take caution. Checked my saliva cortisol about six weeks about side effects above and sadly now confirmed by same dr. that rx these two remedies that I am now recovering from adrenal crisis. The above causes my cortisol levels in half and now difficient. Please take caution. My doctor failed to warn me.

Put me right to sleep, for the whole night.
I was pretty skeptical about this product but after almost a year of little to no sleep due to hormone changes and frequent wakings, this knocked me out, with no foggy headed side affects in the morning. Very pleased although I would caution not to take the 3 pills throughout the day as they made me very drowsy after taking it with my regular low carb diet at lunch and again after dinner. By 8:30 pm I couldn't keep my eyes open. Everybody's different and I am sensitive to all meds but I would suggest starting with one after dinner to see how it affects your body.

get sweet only with whole fruits
I have been using this for 3 months. I am 60 this year. I think this may be helping, as I am not forgetting nearly as much stuff, and I am remembering those things that I do not put on a list. I have noticed no deficit with phosphatidylserine. I am on a restricted diet, no sucrose, no soy, no dairy, get sweet only with whole fruits, and occasionally stevia, eat meats very sparingly I get what is recommended for omegas, all the healthy stuff, No obvious health problem other than genetically tested methylation issues, with a sensitivity to sulfur compounds. Not overweight. I may stop using this during the spring summer months, as I will be outdoors so much more, and sun exposure may improve my overall feeling of wellbeing. Just anecdotal, and just my opinion.

Didn't work for me
Bought these as a natural cortisol blocker to help with sleep and anxiety. Used them for a month and felt no difference.

Seems To Help With Cortisol Levels, But Not With Memory
I originally bought this to help with memory issues, and I was looking for a soy-free product. Unfortunately, this did not seem to help my memory much at all and so I looked for something else to augment. I did find a product that really does helps with forming new memories - that is Phosphatidylcholine - I recommend this brand or Thorne's. However, I do think PS is still important for cortisol control. I tend to have off-the-charts anxiety and this PS combined with Pharma-GABA (I use the Thorne 250mg capsules) does help and it is noticeable. 5-HTP and L-Theanine can also help with anxiety. I am also always looking for ways to increase neurotransmitter production and am open to any suggestions or tips.
