MaxPower 338814 0.095-Inch Premium Twisted Trimmer Line, 200-Foot Length

This stuff cuts so well it actually extends the battery life on my 80W 4 amp hour green works pro trimmer!The string that came with my green works 80W four amp hour string trimmer was very good.I go up against a lot of rough concrete and come as close as I can to chain-link fence.That unfortunately eat away the green works string pretty quickly.I noticed the max power string is somewhat quieter even on high speed than the string that came with the trimmer.I am plagued with tinnitus and appreciate a quieter string trimmer.I also noticed that went up against a chain-link fence it tends to hold up dramatically better.Against rough concrete while doing edging I can do an entire length of sidewalk about 70 feet before I need to bump the trimmer to get more string.This was by far not the most expensive string out there as I was even went as far as to try the so-called best.I was expecting far less performance and was willing to deal with it because of the cheap price.I was shocked but it turned out to be the best string I’ve tried so far and virtually the cheapest. How many times can you say that actually happens?I was glad to see the stuff is made in the USA and it really shows. The way the line is formed it’s sharp and cuts grass very neatly without ripping it up and turning it brown..The bottom line is you buy the stuff you flat out just can’t go wrong.! I saw these featured on Project Farm on YouTube. I was very impressed by their performance. I have been wanting to find these in stores for a while and simply forgot about them. I recently ran out of filament for my weed whacker and remembered i always wanted to try these. Sure enough i hopped on Amazon and boom! There it is 200 feet for under 20$ cant be beat! And they really do hold up to abuse typical of weed whacking. Fences, stumps, pavers etc. You dont have to bump as often saving you time, frustration and MONEY all in the long run. Even if they do finally give way with 200 feet available you wont need to resupply for several seasons, depending on the scale of your yard/projects. If your buying for commercial use i recommend stocking up getting atleast 1000 feet at a time per year would be more than enough. If you're just joe the home owner you could get by with 200 to 400 feet. For me personally ive used a knock off version of this i found at home depot with less twist and in a much thinner diameter like .40 or something. i still managed two and a half years(Seasonal work) worth of weed whacking. So going with this is surely and upgrade im looking forward too!

First time for no string breakage! Kudos to Maxpower for this .095 Twisted Premium String.It usually takes me an hour to trim plus a few minutes to stop at least twice for a broken string.Tried this string and I was so impressed that I immediately bought another 200 ft.I ran it in an FS 91 and it spooled out smoothly and held up against lots of concrete and railroad tie borders.And made in the USA!

Great line doesn’t break as easily as my Sthil line. Saves a lot of time and headache from having to constantly replace line. Highly recommend!

I have used most of the name brand trimmer lines and this is the best line in my opinion.cant beat the price and performance.

This fits my ego strong trimmer. Seems to last longer than the ego string. It has a bright yellow color. This strong is solid enough to last a long time. Weeds don't stand a chance. Here. Anymore.

This is better than Rotary Item Vortex trimmer line which I had been using. I was impressed with Vortex's durability and sharpness. But one thing it doesn't do is cutting sprinkler heads off. So when I switch to MaxPower I thought it's safe to be used around sprinkler heads and I was wrong. It cuts my sprinkler head right off on contact like it was nothing. I should have known as it was quite a bit more durable than Vortex and cuts faster too. But it's much more expensive than Vortex. If you have a yardful of 3-foot tall weeds to cut and your mower doesn't have enough HP for the job Maxpower is the way to go.

Reasonably tough, and doesn't break off at the head like some of those other lines.
