Filofax The Original Leather Organizer Agenda Weekly Daily Planner Ring Binder Calendar with DiLoro Ballpoint Pen (Personal, Stone 2022&ND)

This planner is a beauty! I’m absolutely in love with her but the rings 😞 are they supposed to separate like this? I’ve only had her a little over 2 weeks and she stays on my desk. She not packed with paper either. Turning the pages gets stuck and it’s becoming annoying to have to correct them constantly. I would love if the seller will address this issue, if not I’ll be returning it. It would be great to have this replaced and give a great rating :)

I've been using Filofaxes since the 1980s. A few years ago I switched to those spiral soft-bound planners that you buy each year. They're fine. I tried, though, to switch to keeping it all electronically. That's just not for me. So I wanted a new, A5 sized Filofax and this is perfect, or nearly perfect. First, it's made in England. Not China. Nothing against China but lots of their products are, in my experience, not as good as they could be. The rings close together perfectly, the leather is very nice, and it does what it's supposed to do. Why do I say "almost perfect?" Because the interior, though it has two flaps where one can stash a receipt or a stray note, doesn't have the card slots, slip pocket and zippered pocket that some models have (or did have). But this is a very minor complaint. It's bright, sunny, and I love it.

This was my 3rd and last Filofax. The 1st, Malden, finish came off after a sticker was accidentally stuck to it. The 2nd, Classic A5, the rings gapped. This had the same issue as the A5, gapped rings. I do love it's classy simplicity but when the rings gap, the inserts would snag on the rings.

This is a marvelous organizer! It's beautiful and feels great, and the A5 is a perfect size. I ordered some planning pages and dividers from Etsy for additional planning needs.
