Great Upgrade for Bambu Lab Printers , Smoother Prints and Better Durability
I recently installed this all-metal hotend extruder gear handle kit on my Bambu Lab P1S, and it's been a solid upgrade. The parts feel really durable, much more robust than the stock ones. The helical gear design and all-metal construction make a noticeable difference in how smoothly the filament feeds through, especially with tougher materials like carbon fiber blends.Installation was pretty straightforward if you’re comfortable with basic printer upgrades. Everything fit well, and the silicone handle feels high-quality too, with a nice grip and finish. After switching, I noticed more consistent extrusion and fewer feed hiccups, especially on longer prints.This kit has definitely helped with overall print quality and reliability. Works well, fit in perfectly.
Needed a fast replacement for a worn extruder and didn’t want to wait for a replacement from Bambu. This delivered fast and fit perfectly… not sure how long it will last vs the oem version but it’s been running strong so far.

Replaced broken stock unit, fits and works great on my P1S!
My gears wore out. I'm cheap and wanted the parts quicker. Ordered this set, showed up a couple days later, watched a tutorial on how to swap it out, it fit perfectly and has been working since I installed it!

Does not include bearings shown in video
Video shows it coming with the bearings. But it does not come with the small bearings. Which is probably a reason for other bad reviews and other returns. When the extruder gear is replaced you NEED to replace the bearings as well. Bad idea to not include the bearings when the bearings are shown in the video.

Solid
This is a solid extruder for a typical price. I actually believe you can get cheaper one from Bambu but you might have to pay shipping on that one. The quality is quite nice and the fit was perfect. I haven't had any issues since installing it. I even ran some carbon fiber nylon through it and didn't have any issues.

Works like MAGIC!
WOW! this is 1000x better than the stock extruder you are used to. This should be STANDARD in my expensive P1S printer. MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

Form, fit, function replacement
Dropped right in my P1S and worked right from the get-go. No issues, definitely much better than the stock gear assembly!

Not designed for the long haul.
Worked for a little while but then it got play in the axis of the gear. I can't disassemble further but my guess is the inner diameter of the spindle the gear turned on was worn down, creating the play. When I first opened it, there were a lot of metal shavings present.I would recommend sticking to OEM or Panda.
