Excellent highlighter that can be refilled.Highlighters are very useful to those who read. The more text you read, the more you highlight, the faster your ink will run out. You would normally just go out and buy a new highlighter. Some highlighter brands can be refilled. Staedtler, Stabilo Boss, and Preppy all make refillable highlighters. The best refillable system comes from Staedtler but their refill jars are hard to find. Stabilo Boss refills are somewhat easier to find.The Stabilo Boss yellow ink is darker than the equivalent yellows from Staedtler and Sharpie. It stands out more. All of the brands that I mentioned are of high quality and will not smear or bleed through most textbook paper. All of them glide smoothly across the paper and their tips have proven durable.You should try all of the brands mentioned above to find out which one will suit your preference. All will do the job. If you plan to refill, my suggestion is to pick the Staedtler Textsurfer or the Stabilo Boss. If you want a darker, sharper ink, pick the Stabilo Boss. If you want the easiest refill system, pick the Staedtler.Highly recommended, but you should try other brands to find your preference.

They last longer and don't seem to bleed-thru as much.

These are perfect for highlighting Bible passages; even with thin pages.There's not much bleed through at all so it's useful in that regard. Thecolor seems to hold up for a long time as well and the "highlighter ink",for lack of a better term, goes a long way. It rolls smoothly, fits nicelyin your hand and doesn't lay down too much or too little. All in all it'sthe only highlighter I buy for my Bible, even over ones that are madefor that specific purpose.

This may seem overkill for a mere highlighter, but it lasts as long as a whole box of the more usual domestic highlighters and does not smear laser copies or inkjet copies that are fully dry.Do pay attention to where your Stabilo Boss is coming from, though. I was surprised when an earlier order was shipped from Singapre and took weeks to arrive!

For the cost of One Stabilo Boss, at my local office supply store, I received Three! Excellent product; packaged carefully; and, received much sooner than expected.
