Highly recommend
Very good black out film. Bought it for my bedroom window. Since I work nights I needed the sun non existent in my room. This with some black out curtains worked amazing. Even without the curtains. My son also asked for it so I bought it again for his room and it works great. Easy to apply and cut.

Very happy with the film
Used to black out the windows of camper shell. It was tricky to install, but pretty easy. Allows zero light in, and looks great. It also stays on the Windows very well as long as it's not peeled back from a corner.

Good option for blackout curtains
This product does the job of blacking out light. You just have to be very precise with your measurements because if not, the light will definitely be very noticeable around the edges. There is one thing that would make this product the best - have a grid printed on the discard piece of it for exact cuts. Not a 1-inch grid like wrapping paper, but a true ruler grid with 1/8-inch increments. I think that would have solved my problem of light seeping in around the edges because even though I used a quilting ruler, I must have let it slip. Both sides of the product are black. This might matter to some but it actually looks better than the product I had before that was white on both sides. The grids in the windows show up on the outside and it really just looks like the rest of my windows in the daylight. I have curtains on the windows so the black interior side was not a problem for me. if you do not have curtains or blinds, the black interior might not be attractive.I would recommend this product and I would buy it again, if needed. I have used other products that involved Velcro and that was a mess to remove the Velcro strips from my window sashes after I no longer needed the product on my windows. The price is reasonable compared to other black-out products. I did not have a problem with installing it other than my short cuts. To install I used a bottle of spray specifically designed for installing this type of product and a plastic pot scraper I had from Pampered Chef to remove the bubbles. This worked really well.

DEFINITELY BLACK OUT
So I had to return the item because I failed to realize that it is COMPLETELY blacked out sticker that goes on your window. You have to make sure the window is clean and the material just wasn't sticking the way I thought it was. I wanted something that would allow me to see out but no one could see in so I'm still searching! But anyone with pets that bark when they see someone, this is the product for you!

Did not adhere at ALL
It acted like it was going to stay up on the two windows we put it on and both fell down within 15 minutes despite using every trick to get it to stay up. Complete waste of money.

ehhh- ok
Blacks out the window but only the one side looks good. No matter how much I tried to smooth out the other it still remained bubbly. So if you have something being viewed from both sides and a smooth look is important for both sides that is something to consider.

Works well when you follow directions!
This sheet was about half the size of my window so I had to line up 2 pieces across my window. I cleaned my window with windex very well before I even started. I also prepared a spray water bottle with a drop of dish soap to spray on before I attached the tint. I measured to the closest grid mark so I could cut a straight line. I figured I’d use a utility knife to trim the overlap. The edges of the tint must not be exactly straight cus there is a very fine line where it didn’t line up perfectly in the middle of the window. I intentionally used the factory cut sides together to be able to get a seamless edge. The hardest part was separating the tint from the backing. I had to use a utility blade and a cricut weeding tool. Once I got the backing off, I misted my window with the soapy water and put the tint on top long edge first. It was very easy to move around where I wanted it to go. The edges did not curl up at all. I was able to use a credit card to smooth the edges into the pane of the window which gave me a very smooth edge and no daylight shining through. I’m very pleased with this product and will be ordering more for my other windows!
