MTR Spice Puliyogare Powder, 100g

1. This puliyogare powder is reminiscent of all those childhood days spent in temples of Mysore waiting for the prasad.2. I found that the best way to prepare this as a healthy meal is to precook brown rice until it is very well cooked. Then, allow the rice to cool down.3. After the rice has cooled down to room temperature,take a good amount of peanuts( personally I prefer 24 mantra organic peanuts) and fry it until light brown in a small quantity of rice bran oil or virgin coconut oil.4.Reduce the flame/ heat before the peanuts turn black and immediately add the cooked and cooled brown rice.5. Add MTR puliyogare powder on this mixture while constantly stirring it. The colour of this has to be light brown if you like the tamarind rice to be mild,else a teak wood brown if you like it flavourful as in the temples of South India.6. Relish this with curds or buttermilk if consuming it in summer.7. Definitely a must taste for people who love flavours of India. The masala has spices,til powder,jaggery,chillies and an overpowering tamarind flavour- sweet,sour and spicy with a taste to remember.

Very easy to make puliyogare now...Tastes good. Saves time..Worth the bucks spent. MTR products are really good ..

Extremly easy now to make the authentic tasting pulioghare rice . no fuss and being mtr - quality is the best. The same masala can be used to make pulioghare oats and lapsi for variety.

I didnt find the same taste.... I m regular use mtr pulmonary powder... this time I felt it was not the original product... thr was too much sugar in tht...
