Yummy. Healthier Energy Option. Natural
Nice berry flavor. I looked this one up as a healthier option than the other junk out there. It’s actually delicious I had to order the multi-pack here because it’s not offered at Costco. Here’s the info I found that made me initially try it:Gorilla Energy Drink offers a different approach within the energy drink market. Emphasizing low-calorie content and natural ingredients, Gorilla Energy aims to provide consumers with a healthier energy boost. With zero sugar, no artificial colors, and only 20 calories per can, the drink contains 200mg of natural caffeine sourced from green coffee beans and tea. These attributes cater to consumers seeking energy without the typical additives found in many energy drinks.

A 200mg Caffeine Kick
On the upside, this energy drink delivers and has a lot going for it: No added sugars, low in calories, and a huge caffeine boost. It has a massive morning energy punch. The downside is the taste: It has that acrid licorice-and-battery-acid aftertaste that is associated with many energy drinks. It is just not for me.

My new favorite energy drink! Clean energy without the highs and lows.
For this review, I am not going to talk about the vitamin content or other ingredients, I am going to focus on what the drink does for me and why I enjoy it so much. This is exactly what I have been looking for in an energy drink. I recently took on a project that has doubled my workload and I find myself starting earlier in the day and staying later to complete what needs to be done. Having an energy drink that works for me is a useful tool in making this work.I am especially happy about the lower calorie count. My least favorite part of an energy drinks is the ridiculous amount of sugar in a lot of them. I don’t need a sugar crash along with the caffeine wearing off at some point. I enjoy the flavor and the 16 oz can means I can enjoy it longer. My wife says that she can taste the Taurine, but I guess that is not a deal breaker for my taste buds. For me the energy provided by Gorilla Ultimate is clean and effective. I do not get the jitters at all and there is a slow climb instead of a noticeable rush of energy. I can definitely feel it working, but it doesn’t hit me and then retreat. It comes on a little at a time and lasts me for hours. The comedown is very gentle. I can feel it wearing off, but there is no crash of lower energy at the end. Also, they came packaged ver well and unlike most of my online drink orders there were no damaged or leaking cans.Overall a great experience that helps me get more done and stay better focused. I look forward to trying more of the Gorilla energy drink products.

Not Just an Energy Drink, But a Performance Supplement in its Own Right
It’s refreshing to come across an energy drink that combines naturally derived caffeine with a host of beneficial supplements. Although Gorilla’s Energy Drink contains sugar, it’s naturally derived its fruit ingredients; there’s no added sugar. By all accounts, notwithstanding an individuals’ sugar and/or caffeine intolerances, Gorilla has prioritized the health of their customers in formulating a drink that provides beneficial supplements, and none that cause harm. For that alone, they not only deserve consumer support, but set a bar that all other producers of food and drink products should be held to account.Along with a complement of B vitamins, Gorilla contains the amino acid Taurine, found in abundance in the brain, heart and skeletal muscles, also used to increase performance and slow aging. Acetyl-L carnitine, another amino acid, is used to burn fat as fuel, and is often used for weight loss and increased endurance. Another ingredient is L-Theanine, also an amino acid, that is anxiolytic in nature, and responsible for the release of neurotransmitters, including GABA. L-Theanine is not found in most commonly eaten foods and is therefore usually taken as a supplement. The caffeine contained in the Gorilla drink is derived from Guarana, that is also a nootropic, fights fatigue, is used for weight loss and glowing skin.Because the drink is composed of 22% natural fruit juices from watermelon and apple, there is 14gr of sugar in each can, enough so that it might be a consideration for those with insulin issues. Otherwise, any healthy individual that is used to a diet that includes fruit, will likely enjoy benefits from the drink. Another consideration is the amount of caffeine the drink contains, 200mg, equivalent to about two cups of coffee. A full 16oz can contains only 60 calories. The Gorilla Energy Drink is carbonated, has a nuanced watermelon flavor and is sweet tasting; served cold, it’s refreshing. For those that enjoy energy drinks throughout the day, or before a workout, Gorilla’s drink looks like a healthy alternative to the name brands.

Artificially sweetened energy drink
These energy drinks are an okay value for the money in my opinion. They seem to be of high quality but the taste is very unenjoyable for me. I am used to drinking monster and this tastes similar to that but with a much much more prevalent synthetic sweetener flavor that permeates the drink with every sip. I do not enjoy it. The energy level is as expected for the ingredients and I personally experienced not jitteriness. None of the cans had leaked when I received them so they are strong cans. Overall I would not order again simply based on the flavor, however to some may seem palatable.
