Jack Black Clean Break Oil Free Moisturizer 97 ml

With extremely sensitive skin, I approach any change in routine with great care. I'd been using Simple light moisturiser for years in an attempt to avoid dry skin with as basic a product as possible. That changed when I encountered JB. Starting with hand cream, I was impressed by the no nonsense simplicity and effectiveness. This led me to look at the other products, such as Clean Break. Paraben free and sounding fairly exotic on the ingredient front I thought I'd have a go, parting with no small sum.Initially I used it only every second day but after a couple of weeks of this and no problems I now use it once a day in the morning and my skin is the best it's been in years.

Compared to all the other products I have tried in this price range its excellent. Good ingredient profile, the beneficial ingredients are listed highly which is always a good sign and it genuinely is a no shine product. Leaves my skin in great shape and absorbs very easily. I use it as a night time product due to a lack of SPF and my skin always feels great the following morning. Much better than the majority of brands out there and highly recommended.

I have been using this moisturiser for a a few months now, and its one of my favourites. Its not at all greasy, and in the recent cold weather it has helped my skin to remain hydrated this winter. The pump application allows you to easily control how much you use, and you really only need a little as the coverage provided is rather good. I would whole heartedly recommend this product!

This is a daily, oil-free facial moisturiser for men; for all skin types. What you get is a 97 ml rigid plastic container, with pump applicator which works well, with no mess, spills or wastage.The moisturiser is white in colour, lightweight and non-greasy. It is quickly absorbed by the skin but still provides skin protection throughout the day it only uses top quality organic ingredients and is free of synthetic fragrances, colourants, or other toxic additives..It's aimed at the male market, so the product is purposely designed to look solid, blue and masculine. We are talking practical skin care here, definitely not male cosmetics!Suggested use is to apply a 10p size amount on clean face and neck, and to use morning and night for lightweight moisturisation. In my opinion you could possibly get away with half that amount though, and it would still be effective.Got to say I like this product, but not sure if I will use it everyday.

I have combination skin with some oily patches but other more dry areas and I really like this moisurizer because I can smooth it on over my entire face without the oily patches becoming excessively greasy. It also does not have any smell, which is a real bonus as I am allergic to most perfumes. It is a pump action dispenser which delivers just a small amount at a time, so it isn't wasteful. The moisturizer is quite lightweight and leaves my skin feeling lovely and fresh. Not the cheapest on the market, but I think this compares very favourably with some of the more expensive brands I have used in the past and is actually quite a decent sized amount for the price at 3.3 fl.oz.

Getting my partner to use products is a battle, he swears he doesn't need to use them but I know he does! He has relented and started to use facial moisturiser, this Jack Black Clean Break Oil Free Moisturiser is ideal. Simple, effective and no faffing. Free from all the nasties that are no good for our skin: fragrances, colourants, parabens, plus it is cruelty-free and it is also dermatologist tested. He says it was good to use, skin felt moisturised but not greasy and you only need a small amount. I will not be telling him the price because that would put him off completely! The high price is the reason I took a star off the review. This is a high end product with a price tag to match, a shame because this moisturiser would suit most men but I think lots of them would be put off spending so much money.

Quite a large, chunky can, this, and obviously quite masculine. I am not a man, and quite honestly don't hold with all this gender assigning for certain toiletries; I sometimes wear my husband's aftershave or deodorant, and he occasionally uses my moisturiser.So, having got that out of the way, what do I think of this particular oil-free moisturiser? It's white and quite thin, more of a lotion than a cream and a little goes a long way. I can't detect much of a fragrance, but that may be due to my poor sense of smell. It disappears into the skin very quickly leaving no visible trace.After a few days use my skin doesn't feel any worse,but I can't honestly say I notice a huge benefit for the better. Maybe it needs more time.That retail price......ouch! I definitely would not pay the current price of £30 and cannot honestly recommend it any more than cheaper alternatives.

I quite like this. It's a moisturising cream, which isn't all nasty and oily. It's absorbed quickly and easily.One of the selling points is that it doesn't contain a lot of the stuff you find in other creams. It dies still leave your skin feeling nice and smooth, but the price is pretty steep, in my opinion.It's also got the MANLY design thing, which bugs me a little.Recommended, but it is too expensive.
