Perfect addition for impact driver as well as drill.
Great tool for a DIY guy. Easy to use, and work good so far. Much better than buying a hundred + dollar screw gun. I hung drywall for a living years ago. I believe this was just as good. A value for the money. This attachment is made well thought out. Would buy again.

reliable high volume drywall bit
Much more expensive than the common disposable bits. On any drywall bit, the phillips tip wears out and needs to be replaced frequently. Unlike the disposable bits, this unit allows replacement of only the small phillips bit in the center rather than the whole unit with depth ring. Unit has adjustable depth but no markings as guidance to correct depth resulting in a ding on my ease of use rating. Once you have the depth right, it works great. Slightly better performance than disposable bits in that outer ring does not spin and damage paper. Larger diameter trickier near corner but otherwise encourages perfect perpendicular screws.Like many things now made in China, arrives with no paperwork or even information printed on packaging. No warranty apparently beyond Amazon's return policy since no method of contacting manufacturer.

Why I Didn't I Buy This a Year Ago?
I tried to put up drywall with just a power screwdriver, and it's gone fairly well -- but not great. I feared I would need to buy a proper drywall power gun ($$$). But I thought I'd try this converter first ... because at this price, why not? And man, am I glad I did. It works so well and is so easy to use, I not only finished the rest of the job in NO time, I then went back over ever single screw I'd set previously, and what a difference the converter made. Do not hesitate, DIY people -- if you have an electric drill and you're putting up sheetrock, add this to the set and you will be ready to go.

Non-magnetic! Requires lock tight!
Arrived on time, no issues with seller, they have contacted me multiple times after purchase to make sure i got the product and was satisfied with it, theyve asked me for a review so here it goes.Great concept! really like how it’s SUPPOSED to function, takes some getting used to. Few things that really make it a hassle. First off its Non magnetic, so one handed operation isnt really an option...dont try to hang a lid or a large piece alone with this bit. Also the dept set screw gets unscrewed every 3 or so screws from the centrifugal force of the drill. I used some lock tight, and some caulking once i had the desired depth set to keep it where i needed it-works ok, however if you need to drive the screws in at an angle, in a corner, or somewhere the outside edge of the bit will rub, then it doesnt flush the screws up properly. If their was a secondary set screw, jam nut or locking washer, this would not be an issue.Once i put the lock tight in, theirs no practical way to adjust it without two pairs of pliers. So i just switch out back and forth from this bit, to a standard magnetic tip bit, if i need to go at an angle, in a corner, or back out a screw. If you stop the drill before the clutch engages all the way, the bit tends to get caught one of the internal cogs, which changes the depth to deep if you dont reset it before driving in your next screw (i found just placing the screw on the bit and giving it a turn manual with your fingers will force the bit to rotate just enough to lock back into position)Kinda seems like this is another prototype the designer put out their and is getting us to do his research and development for him.If thats the case, put some rubber gaskets in between the jam nut and the depth gauge, add a secondary lock washer so the depth doesn’t adjust itself mid use, and for the love of God magnatize the bit.another improvement id recommend for this product is having some type of screw guide, shieth for longer screws (2 1/2”) to keep them straight while driving them in and countersinking at the appropriate depth as the clutch disengages from the bit. That would be awesome! All that said, its still a useful tool, i got it for my crew who doesnt have much skill or experience, and ultimately it does what i need it to do, which is prevent inexperienced helpers from over penetrating the screws into the drywall.Theirs still room for improvement however, and i think the design has a lot of potential. If your just looking for something cheap to convert an impact driver into a depth setting screwgun, this will work, but id reccomend at least going to the hardwear store and see if you can buy another nut with the same thread pitch to keep your depth gauge set properly, or some lock tight, otherwise youll just get frustrated and get a standard dimpler bit.

Great Product
Used this to re-screw some sheetrock on my ceiling. Worked pretty well right out of the package (counter-sunk the screws). I adjusted the depth of the counter-sinking to make it more to my liking. This was very easy to do by turning the round cylinder up or down. Using this made the job of re-screwing the sheetrock very easy.

Not worth it
Seem like a good Audra at first but when using it, too thick for when is close to an corner, it never stays adjusted, when set perfect, goes out of adjustment within a few uses and then it usually goes too far in.

Great budget friendly tool!
I used this product for installing fence pickets. It prevented me from blowing through any pickets with my impact drill. Over 400 screws, no issues. The jamb nut is really tight now though and I will have to use pliers to loosen it. Also needed to use pliers to remove the included Phillips bit to replace it with a T-20 torx bit. Very satisfied with it.

A Good, Cheaper Alternative
Works really well, however certain bits work in it better than others. I needed a square bit that didn't come with the set. One kept falling out but another built for an impact driver worked great. The collars can come loose, but hand tightening works fine and I seem to be able to impact drive many, many screws before there is a depth issue. Squirt a little WD on the spring now and then to help with release as well. Overall this is a great buy and a cheaper - not better - alternative to a drywall screw gun if you're only occasionally hanging sheet rock.
